Absolutely delicious food! Loved the bright colors in the restaurant and friendly service. The Birria tacos were amazing! We also tried to Pambazo and were blown away. Food is made to order, so enjoy a chat with a friend. Service was faster than expected and the flavors of everything were so good. The bread for the Pambazo was incredible. We also tried the Fresas con crema and also enjoyed that. Can't wait to come back. Planning your visit: •Free parking limited on the sides of the restaurant. •They accept cash and credit cards •You walk up to the counter to order •Food is brought out to you, but not serviced like a restaurant help yourself.
Had lunch at “Spanglish” it was really good! It’s definitely hand made original recipes, I’ll be back the next time I’m in the area. Oh I forgot I had the shrimp tacos and chips and salsa.
Tried The Spanglish for dinner. My hopes exceeded my experience. The atmosphere is bright colors and charming. The menu is huge. I liked the strawberries con crema. We got that first and then it was probably 20 mins until the rest of the food arrived. The elotes fries were ok, the fries themselves were sort of flavorless. I love elote but it was just ok on flavor. I got burria quesadillas. They were the best thing. My friend got the burria floutas. And one drink. Not sure how to spell that. A kid’s meal is $9 so he just ate off his mom’s plate. They had a high chair which was on the ground. I wish we’d known they had them sooner, when my friend’s toddler was trying to run away while we waited. It made me miss my favorite place to get burria tacos so much! I was hungry and wasn’t expecting the long wait. I had to ask if they forgot about us. It wasn’t crowded at all. Came to $56 with a 15% prepaid tip. Mistake. I should tip after. I really really dislike how the screen to pay says 15% good, 20% very good. But I haven’t tried anything yet and it’s not the same as a sit down restaurant. I think 10% is generous for casual dining without a waiter. It feels like they’re guilting you into it. So next time I’ll put it in the tip jar. I’m ready to find a Mexican place I can love. I know this place gets great reviews but I’m not going back.
Super unassuming restaurant from the street, but inside tells a different story. Super friendly, family owned restaurant with delicious food! The birria tacos are incredible. The pastor street tacos with the pico are also fantastic. Cheese fries were tasty, but were typical fries with melted cheese on top, was hoping they would have been smothered. Our absolute favorite are the shrimp tacos. We order them extra crispy to get a great crunch on the corn tortilla. Since the original review a few months ago, we have come back about 35-40 times. We now fully understand the obsession with tacos… we just never had a place to obsess over before! They have a 25% military discount on Wednesdays and 10% every other day!
A local eatery that has a wide variety of food. I got the birria soup which came with plenty of meat and was quite filling. The portions are good here. The vibes is very low key and makes it a good lunch spot. The birria soup was not full of spices, It reminded me more of the light taste of menudo.
Had some fish, asada, pastor and chorizo tacos! All of them were amazing. Great food, amazing service and love that they have fresh juices.Food: 5/5
The best birria in Utah the tacos and ramen birria were sooooooo good and the mangonada was way good as well. Definitely be back more often. I recommend this to everybody.
Wow! I loved everything we tried, the service was great, and the location is very accessible. I highly recommend the shrimp taco.Recommended dishesStreet Tacos, Shrimp Tacos
Caveat - ordered through DoorDash: Had to throw out a good portion of the food as it was inedible. The vegetarian sope - totally soaked in a pool of oil. **Not** liquid from cooked vegetables... straight oil. It's like someone took a ladle of canola oil and dumped it on top. The bionico was yummy, but sitting in a pool of milk. The street corn in a cup was surprisingly bland, sitting in a pool of mayo/cheese/milk? The tres leches was thankfully supposed to be sitting in a pool of milk, and was. Basically everything we ordered was delivered as some sort of soup hybrid, and the overfried oil-soaked tortillas were inedible mushy messes. I am very unlikely to give this place another shot, especially through a delivery service. Maybe in person.
We decided to grab lunch here today and WOW! The food was amazing and the service was amazing as well. The portions are perfect. The staff is very friendly and helpful at making suggestions. All around a great experience. We will definitely be returning.
