Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an amazing healthy dishes at very reasonable prices! I recently visited and was hungry so I ordered an entree Greek salad with the pork pita combo for takeout. I replaced my fries with a poutine that showed up with cold fries and slightly warm sauce. I was mistaken that they use the Greek fries so when I returned with the cold poutine they charged $1.75 extra. I mentioned the cold poutine and having to return to the restaurant for their mistake was punishment enough. They said they could give me a free baklava, so I agreed, not wanting to further regret leaving a 5 dollar tip for a simple order. The black olives were defiantly the high point and the Baklava was a close second. Unfortunately the main pita wrap had more fat than any pita I've ever had. The Greek potatoes were tasty but quite mushy and not the wedge shaped crispy kind. And the poutine definatley had way less cheese the second time. Finally the tired Greek salad had some average tomatoes and feta with sub par tasting cucumbers. Also the Epsa sour cherry drink is non carbonated, contrary to what I was told. It's a small bottle and not very sour nor was it very special. For $33 I wasn't very full. I will try the Mousaka next time and might be updating this review.
Went on a Saturday night and they were busy. So busy in fact that it took over an hour to get the meat platter we ordered. People on our table started getting "hangry". An update from the wait staff would've been nice. Other than the long wait the food was good. Meat platter was great. But the wait tarnished everyone's experience that they all said they won't be returning.
We ordered for dinner tonight and we were overall satisfied with the order except for the house salad which was part of the vegetarian pita plate that we ordered. The salad was mostly just lettuce, only two tiny cherry tomatoes and 2 olives. We've ordered in the past and there's much more to the salad then just lettuce...
We always loved ordering take out and tonight was the first time we dined on location and it didn’t disappoint. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere lovely decorated by one of the owners, and the food amazing as usual. The potatoes are the best, that sauce! The owner took the time to great us and we enjoyed the family run aspect of this wonderful local restaurant.
Quite a remarkable place, first I was surprised to see a nice dining area but I was there for takeout. Again, pleasantly surprised with very decent serving sizes and food is very savory I may tho ask for a bit less salt next time. Food is also very nicely arranged. Definitely will be coming for more.Food: 5/5
We drove 600kms in the day for an activity and we had no idea where to eat. Saw this place and decided to give it a try. When we came in, the lady was very nice, explained the menu, was very patient. We ordered, she told us it would be 15 minutes. While waiting, we observed the owner serving tables, huge smile on his face and clearly enjoying what he was doing. The atmosphere was cozy and really pleasant. Got out food, went to our rental and unpacked it. WOW! The portions are HUGE! Taste wonderful, the lemon/garlic sauce was delicious! Huge pieces of tomato in the Greek salade! Everything was excellent from start to finish. We will definitely stop again next time we are around!
I went on February 4th with my sister and it was my first time there. It was more than I could have expected. The seating was great, friendly staff, the gyro was delicious and the music was not too loud so you could still hear the conversation. It was so good! I’m looking forward to returning and ordering every appetizer because it all looked delicious!
Great food! Everything is made fresh, Great portion sizes, and great atmosphere. I love the Spanikopita and the potatoes with that lemon sauce... Just Amazing. The Chicken pitas have nice big chunks of chicken. So good, my favourite restaurant in the area.
I recently ordered from Souvlaki Authentique in Vaudreuil/Hudson, there was a little mess up with my order, but the owner Paul called me personally which I was not expecting and took care of the situation. He was courteous, professional, and you can tell he really cares about his business, clients, and employees. He solved the issue in a way that exceeded my expectations. My family really likes the food here and it's a relatively healthy option when you're in a pinch and don't want to order a greasy pizza. We usually get the Souvlaki chicken stick plate and the Gyro pitas, they never disappoint. I always get the potatoes cause I could pretty much drink the sauce they put with them. The salad is always fresh, never any soggy or brown bits like some other take out places. Highly recommend.
