Souvlaki Authentique

Absolutely a gem! This Greek souvlaki food restaurant is simply delicious, everything is so well made and tasty. Their combo option with chicken, rice, potatoes with a homemade yummy sauce and a salad, all of that for less than 20. You can see it's a family owned restaurant by the care they put into preparing the food and friendly service. Visited the place 4 times while in Montreal and will be back next time I am here!

This place is amazing! We ordered for takeout and we were very impressed by the fair price, generous portion and the high quality of the food especially the gyro. As the name of the place states, it is very authentic! I definately recommend this place to any greek food lover!!

I really wanted to try this place and decided to visit it today. I was there at 4pm sharp. They are supposed to open at 4pm. I stayed 15 minutes and the place was still closed. It is very unpleasant to be left waiting.Service: 1/5

Dry chicken, dry potatoes, overcooked and tasteless rice…probably last nights leftovers served up to me today! this was literally the worst Souvlaki I had ever had. I can’t believe the reviews i see here saying it’s the best they’ve ever had lol!!! If you’ve never had authentic Greek don’t be slinging around such high praise! because of those comments I wasted $$$ on this place based on their poor judgement. It’s as though the “cook” was a child who didn’t even know what spices to use or how to marinade. How can you charge people for this? I’m amazed people actually willingly purchase food here. Jesus Christ the tomatoes in the salad were as though they were exposed to the cold too long. And TWO olives lol. One thing slice of feta. I have never in my life wasted time to leave a bad review because I hate being so critical but if I can save some poor soul from this next-level disappointment, then It’s worth it!

Wow! Just ordered the Pork Souvlaki plate and baklava and it exceeded my expectations on all fronts. All the ingredients were fresh and high quality - even the tomatoes in the house salad! The souvlaki included a very generous helping of pork, perfect fries, and great rice. The baklava was among the best I've ever had, too. Blown away. I will definitely order again.
