We are a JK-Grade 8 elementary school serving the southwest corner of Woodstock, Ontario, Canada.

Story

"Southside Tigers are Roarrring to the Top!"

Southside Public School is the home of the tigers. True to our slogan, the staff, parents and students work together to provide a caring learning environment that enables students to realize their potential and contribute positively to their community. We have an enthusiastic, dedicated staff who provide quality instruction. The teacher-librarian works with the classroom teachers to develop students' research skills. Computer programs and the Internet are an integral part of student learning. The Learning Support Team provides extra help to students in need. Southside School was built in 1956 to service the students from Kindergarten to Grade 5 who lived in the south-west corner of Woodstock, Ontario. At the present time, the school welcomes students from Early Years to Grade 8. Southside Public School has five classrooms, a library, a computer lab and a gymnasium in the main building. A portapack was placed on site in 2010 and houses seven classrooms and a Reading Resource Room.
