Southside has some of the worst food on campus, the food is super bland and some of it isn't even cooked all the way through half time or is overcooked. The service from the student workers is generally very good, however I've had a less than good experience with the staff. Some of the staff are in the the wrong profession because certain members have been incredibly rude, condescending and completely unprofessional towards me.
By far the most mediocre of dining facilities on campus, it's food and sometimes pretty good but mostly just subpar or decent pizza
Great food. My favorite is the sandwich bar. Basically a Subway, but you can use your RDA for it. Huge selection of different meals. As well as the "Chef's Creation" which changes each day. I would recommend looking up the daily meal online as it is usually a good one.
I live in a dorm right next to this place, so I eat there regularly. I hate it. The food is almost always bad, the service is by far the worst I’ve ever had. Do not go here unless you have no other option. Walking to Moscow is more enjoyable than a typical southside cafe experience.
Good place for a more conventional not fancy meal, many restaurants with multiple choices but if you want a pizza go for Stella's, if you are aiming for large amounts of protein and carbohydrates this is the place. The quality varies from day to day, check the online menu before.
Incredible selection at unbeatable prices. The food here is not only flavorful but it also helps those on diets or specific regiments. The staff are fast, efficient, and very friendly. Honestly this is a great place for students to get their meals at.
love the wraps and all the different kinds of food though a lot of the time they look good, but are bland in taste but I wouldn't suggest the burger grill since every single time I go get a burger my order has always been messed up even when it was super slow there in some way and it seems like sometimes when it gets busy, they sometimes have people working on the grill going so slow! Never getting a burger again, tired of getting my order constantly messed up
I ordered a vegetarian croissant toasted with cheese and veggies. What I got was another mistake from southside. What I got was a croissant with nothing on it. Plain and toasted! I'm just wondering how whoever made this "sandwich" didn't notice that it was just toasted bread. It is honestly comical how they messed up this order and how disappointing it is for students to pay thousands for living on campus and being forced to have a dining plan.
Looking back, I always really like the food here. There has been the occasional issue but its to be expected anywhere. Its a great place for you and your friends to spend some RDA and have dinner together.
Food is terrible and the meat is undercooked almost all the time. Rather make the walk to Northside, at least there food is always cooked. Disappointed this is the closest option. Only staying in business because of freshman students.
