I just purchased my second vehicle from Southgate. My first experience was less than ideal, but I decided to come back and give them another chance after some much needed staff changes within the dealership. I am glad I did because my experience with Stephanie was amazing. She was so helpful, honest and let me take my time making a decision. She also advocated for me and my needs, helped me get an amazing offer for my trade in and helped me get the best deal on a new Jetta. Thanks Stephanie and team!

We just purchased a used vehicle from this dealership and our experience dealing with the manager and salesman was awesome. They were both so integral and showed honesty and care for us and our growing family with a baby on the way. We felt like they went the extra mile to ensure we were happy with the vehicle and it met our needs. I will definitely be going back when the time comes to purchase another vehicle. I can't say enough about this place already and I'm not even a client yet. I have an order in for a new vehicle that has yet to arrive but that's not why I'm taking the time to write this review. I had an issue arise with my current vehicle that needed more than 2 days to rectify and absolutely shouldn't be driven. The dealership that I bought the vehicle through didn't have any loaner vehicles to give me but they could at least "shuttle me home" which is great and all except for the fact that I need my vehicle on a daily basis for work and already had appointments booked for later that afternoon. Realizing the predicament I was in, I reached out to the extremely knowledgeable Mr. Scott McNaughton, over at Southgate Volkswagen, who is responsible for turning my attention towards Volkswagens, which I had never before considered. I told him about the situation I was in and within 15 minutes I received a call from the sales manager, Danny, that they had arranged a loaner vehicle for me! I couldn't believe the night and day service difference between two dealerships - and to not even be a customer yet? Simply amazing. If this is the kind of service they're giving to people who aren't yet their customers, I can't wait to see what it's like when I am one. Thanks again Southgate Volkswagen! I will definitely be recommending your dealership to anyone looking for a level of service that goes above and beyond expectation.

Just had to share a really great experience I recently had while at Southgate Volkswagen. Met a very pleasant salesman, Steve. He took the time to answer all my questions, and seemed very knowledgeable. He didn’t try to pressure me into making any hasty decisions. I definitely recommend seeing this salesman if you are looking for someone whom is genuinely kind and good at their job!!

Helped one of my kids buy a vehicle from Stephanie today and it was a great experience. She had everything ready to go when we got there and made everything very easy, efficient and pleasant. I also want to give a shout out to Don, the Sales Manager and Dave the Finance Manager who both bent over backwards to get us into the vehicle we wanted within budget!

We bought a new vehicle here recently and overall we had a pleasant experience. The vehicle was delayed by a little over a month which has nothing to do with the dealer. Our sales woman was very easy to deal with and made sure we left the dealership happy. In my experience it's not uncommon for the price to change a few times before the vehicle is actually picked up but she ensured that the original deal was honored. I'm holding back 1 star from my review because I used to be a detailer and some of the things that I found on the walk around should have been addressed before we arrived tape residue, leftover glue, small scratches behind the door handles from finger nails. Nothing major, and I'm sure if I pointed it out to the sales person she would have had it corrected... But if you ask me, a new car shouldn't have to have things pointed out by the customer and I like to get an idea of how the dealership operates. Overall a great, family owned dealer that we're happy to have purchased from. We're looking forward to new adventures in our new vehicle!

Omar and Don were amazing to deal with! When I unexpectedly needed a new vehicle after being in a collision, they were not only able to help find me a vehicle but also helped with the insurance process and my transportation needs until I got my insurance pay out. Unbelievable service, down to earth and very professional. I would recommend dealing with Southgate VW.

This was my first time buying a vehicle from a dealership and was pretty nervous at first. Dan helped me get the best deal possible and was very honest and upfront with everything.
