Subpar and slow service, could be more friendly. Burger tasted ok, nothing special. Not even busy and they’re getting orders confused, bad communication between staff. Fries are supposed to be as New York Fries quality, but because they’re slow, they double fry the fries, and sprinkle with more salt than necessary.
Used to love going there every weekend. Burgers and fries were great. Last visit, fries were over cooked and dry. The hamburger patties were raw. The bun was mush because of all the liquids that leaked from the patty. I took one bight and had to throw it out. I took pictures of the burgers and called 3 times to try and talk to a manager. No one could tell me when a manager would be in and no one returned our calls. Very disappointing because this is was our favourite burger restaurant. Haven't been back since.
We had a 6oz burgertheir largest option a hot dog, a pop and a milkshake it was $28. A little pricey but not out of this world. The food tastes good but I wish the burger was a little bigger. They only offered one size of pop but said the refills are free but the fountain taps are on the other side of the counter so you can't help yourself. There was never anyone at the till to refill ours and the cooks were busy. The milk shake was a little on the small side. Staff was friendly. It took a while to get our burgers but the fries didn't finish cooking until we were done the rest of our food and drink. I'll go back cause the hot dogs and milkshakes are fun for the kids but If I'm hungry I'll probably go somewhere else where I get a little more food and a little better price. Overall I'd still recommend it for something a little different.
I visited this restaurant yesterday for the first time with my two young daughters and it was delicious! The piri piri burger was so good I bought a second one for my husband to try. The fries were awesome of course and made to order so they were hot and not greasy at all. The staff was friendly and I'll definitely go back. The location was clean and bright.
Food was okay, burger was kind of bland. Garlic mayo didn't even taste like garlic. They literally use grocery store buns D'Italiano and don't toast it or anything. Super overpriced. 3 burgers, a large fries, 2 soft drinks and a small chocolate milk $42 and we walked away still kinda hungry. I won't be back, would've had a better experience in a restaurant for the same price, and more food. This was a big fail for me. PS. They claim to be kid friendly but zero kids meal options. You have to buy them a full size burger which is a tad ridiculous.
I love the fact I can watch what's cooking. The variety is excellent and the burgers even the smallest is large for me. Service impeccable , staff friendly and full of smiles , I love that. Ambience pretty cool. I have only been to the one in Toronto on five occasions , my family loves it as well. Was delighted to hear that you had a location in Edmonton. I plan on checking it out and I have also told friends they need to absolutely check it out and will not be disappointed. No problem with prices , just wish I could eat more !!!
Food was good. Staff was friendly for the most part.. had never been here before, didn't fully understand the menu and when I asked about it the girl ringing in our order just stared at me like I dumb. She was no help. The girl and guy that was building my burger were awesome.
The atmosphere was good, the customer service was really good, the price was a little higher than expected but not unreasonable. Unfortunately the 1 key ingredient they are missing is flavor in the meat, that is the reason I have no intention of going back, lunch for 2 was $30 and for that price, any price really, there needs to be flavor in the near cause the other ingredients aren't enough to cover that up.
Burger was excellent, good ingredients, freshly cooked tasted great. Fries aren't bad, but for what I paid I probably wouldn't get the poutine again although to their credit there was plenty of cheese which is the most expensive part Lost points because the service wasn't great. The younger girl who took our order didn't even start making our milkshakes until the burgers were already done and up, we were most of the way done eating by the time she was finished. The older woman with the drawn on eyebrows could barely be heard when she called out which order was up, then when I asked which order she was prepping and if it was ours there were no patties up yet so it just two plain buns all she said was "are these yours?" "I'm sorry I couldn't hear you which burgers are these?" "ugh" the whole time staring at the wall to her right and not even talking in my direction. It definitely seemed like a chore for her to even talk to me. Bad service, but not so bad that I wouldn't go again, next time I'll probably just get a burger and a shake though.
Better quality than any fast food resteraunt and maybe a $1.00 or 2.00 more...very worth it! This is my McDonald's...ask for meat well done. Fresh ingredients to choose from. Friendly staff and very clean. My man does not leave hungry and I can't finish mine. NYFries too. Worth a try!
