Wish I knew this site was here a few years back .When my son was sent home with a broken neck ..Very rude nurse in x-ray ..my son was complaining of the pain and she told him that the doctor didnt see anything wrong and if someone was to be complaining it should be her ..having to be there with a heavy aporn on her chest for protection ..By Sunday he was going via by ambulance to Halifax to be placed in a halo .. X-ray tech came in on Sunday and read the x-ray ..If this young man would have just moved the wrong way he could have been paralyzed ..Not all nurses or doctors are like this ...SSRH was calling on a regular basis to our home should have reported & sued ...

Came in to the ER at 0630, was seeing a nurse by 0700. I experienced short wait times, pleasant knowledgeable staff, and decent food as far as hospital food goes. They listened when I told them what I suspected my issue was, and I was in surgery that evening. They informed me of everything that would be happening, and checked my bracelet consistently. Enjoyed my stay.

Negative emerg staff with a few good drs. The "release" counsellor nurse is from my nightmares nasty and unhelpful... I would drive to Halifax if i could avoid going here... Or lunenburg to avoid waits.
