Fantastic school! Everyone is so caring and wonderful. I'm so glad we moved here.

What a run down mess. With all the tax money that Plymouth takes in there is no reason the school should be in as bad of shape as it is. There is also the scariest of pictures when you walking in and go straight towards the gym or cafeteria. Looks like something out of a Steven King novel. I see all the buses pull into town each year, I see how may taxes go up and up all the time bleeding families to the point of almost not being able to pay their mortgage. I see the new pay to park everywhere that never used to be there. With as big as plymouth is and the revenue that this town takes in there is no reason for it to have had to close town offices on Fridays and for the schools to be suffering the way they are. Put OUR money back into the town where it belongs and not line the pockets of the government officials who take it.

My son went to school there for 3 years and my daughter for alittle over a year. I did not send my 3rd child there at all. I have pulled all of my children out of school and put them all in Private school. Plymouth South Elem. LET US DOWN numerous times. The academics after kindergarten are horrible. The children are extremely clicky (YES..Even at the sweet ages of 5!). Your children get lost in parking lots. They do not want siblings sitting in the audience of any plays or productions going on. They DO NOT focus on the family. The FOCUS is purely on what is best for the faculty instead of the children and their families. Our daughter was able to leave the school unattended in the 1st grade without any teacher ever noticing she was missing. She could of gotten abducted or hit by a car. We found her after an early parent pick up wandering around the parking all alone. YES ALONE! When we approached the upper up, she did not know what to say and we never got an apology. Needless to say, the following year that my daughter did not come back to school. I hope all of you parents out there take heed of this warning and think really hard before sending your children to Plymouth South. They are all not as they seem to be.
