South Common Medical Walk-In Clinic

My toddler was stung by a bee and I was concerned that the stinger was still left in her finger as I noticed the swelling spread down her hand. Arrived at the clinic, was greeted by one of the nurses and filled out a form and was taken immediately by Dr.Pham. She made my daughter feel comfortable and confirmed everything for us. She prescribed antibiotics in case the swelling continued and also provided allergy medicine. We were in and out in record time. Very warm and personable since she is also a mother - she was able to relate to our situation. The best part was she called a couple days later to follow up! Amazing. Thank you!

I have been coming to this walk in for years. The receptionists are all really nice and helpful. I am always greeted with a kind hello. The nurses are great at doing bloodwork and work so hard. Dr. Pham is the doctor I see and she is always so helpful. She has given me many referrals, calls with results in a timely manner, and is very knowledgeable. I take both my kids here and if there is something she is not sure of she will send me to a pediatrician. They all worked so hard!! I would recommend this place!

I've been going to South Common Medical Centre for over 15 years. Dr. Pham is my family Doctor and she's been nothing short of kind, caring and attentive. Personally, I try to take care of myself at home first, and only go in when I can't resolve with over the counter medicine, or if I have to head in for regular check-ups. I've had positive experiences with all of the Doctors who work there as well as the staff.

Saw Dr. Anne-Marie Pham, her room side manner was fantastic. I was diagnosed and prescribed medication by her that healed my problem the next day! Her staff was extremely pleasant to both my wife and I especially for being a walk-in patient. Nurse/assistant Marilou was exceptional with her blood taking methods where I did not feel a thing and I have a fear of needles even at my age of 50+.

This place does not take walk-in patients. The receptionists were rude, abrupt, and dismissive. I was one of three people in the waiting area, all of whom did not have appointments. The receptionists did not even make eye contact with me or with the other woman who did not have an appointment while they begrudgingly tried to accomodate another lady who misunderstood her appointment time. They were on the phone the whole time taking call after call and finally the nurse came out from the back and asked the woman in front of me if she had an appointment and she said, "no". The doctor took her in and said it was okay. Then when other people who had appointments came in after me the receptionist with shorter hair asked if I had an appointment and when I said I did not, she spoke to me in a loud, belittling voice and said, "no, no, no!" All the while waving her finger at me. I calmly and quietly explained the google listing states that walk-in appointments are available and the other receptionist interrupted her call to yell at me, "you have to be patient!" When the receptionist with the long hair got off the phone she helped every other person after me and would not even look at me. I stood there waiting patiently while she took more calls. After 25 minutes of not even being told if I could be seen or not, I called other clinics in my Google search and found one that actually takes walk in patients and walked out. Even still, no one made eye contact with me after yelling at me. If you want to be treated like an idiot child, attend this clinic.

Hands down the worst walk-in clinic I've ever been to. Dr. Anne-Marie Pham was extremely rude and dismissive of my health issues even though my family doctor told me to go to the emergency room as soon as she heard what was going on. I left the clinic crying because I've never had a doctor make me feel so badly. Receptionists are also unprofessional, pry unnecessarily, and discuss personal health issues so loudly that everyone in the clinic can hear. Avoid going here at all costs.

The receptionists are EXTREMELY abusive, making ANY comments they want on the phone as if they're your personal friend and it's extremely weird. They were asking me personal questions that had nothing to do with the appintment and trying to pry into my life without giving me an appointment, they were basically trying to give me a therapy session over the phone and as a psychology student I found this so uncomfortable . I am reporting this higher up , and I would appreciate if a manager could contact me to apologize for your receptionists unprofessional and immature behaviour . I had mentioned ive been struggling with my eyes and the receptionist's response was "you could have seen someone in that time though, so that's not our problem"? Absolutely disgusting behaviour. You guys won't be in service long treating people the way you are. Look at your reviews and do better. Imagine going to school for 10+ years to have receptionists ruin your name.

The receptionists were very rude. I called before I arrived to see how long the wait was and no one answered after 12 rings. I got there and there was NO ONE in the waiting room. The receptionist asked if I had an appointment, I said no. They said they can’t take me as I need to call ahead to book an appointment. I told them I called and no one answered, they replied “we are busy here and have better things to do than answer the phone”. Then how are we supposed to make an appointment if they don’t answer the calls?!?! Why is this called a walk-in when they don’t accept walk ins?! Make it make sense!! The 2.7 stars this is rated is generous!!

Today, I needed an appointment urgently. I called the office in the morning when they opened. Although my GP was fully booked, they still managed to fit me in this morning. I had my issue addressed promptly and efficiently. Many thanks to all the staff who helped me today!

Dr. Pham is a true professional, caring physician, knowledgeable, and a great doctor. I’m glad to have her as my family Doctor. This walk in medical clinic’s Receptionists are very pleasant and professional.
