I’m traveling right now, and during my trip to Toronto and Vancouver, it’s been a long time since I’ve enjoyed real decent Korean food this much. Even though it’s far, this is definitely a place I want to come back to.nnThe chestnut-flavored makgeolli, soju, sundae soup, seafood pancake, and makchang sundae were all delicious. Thank you for making it so comfortable and enjoyable for me to dine here.nnEmma’s service was amazing as well, and I truly appreciate all the little things you did to take care of me.nnI hope to see you again next time. ^^*
Restaurant was very crowd in the weekday too.. I visited the restaurant around the opening hour but people were eating the foods before the open hour? In overall, foods were great and portions were good enough for more than two people.
Stir fried pork was amazing. I haven't found many genuinely authentic tasting Korean places but this is one of the best ones I have found.nnWe went around dinner time on a Wednesday and there was a bit of a wait especially since their restaurant is quite small. 100% worth the wait.nnWhen there's a smaller menu, you already know their dishes are going to be amazing because they put all their efforts into the few dishes. I think the portions are good and we were even able to take some leftovers home because we were so full.nnHighly recommend this place!
The staff were polite and welcoming. However, the hot stone bibimbap was rather bland. I would have appreciated the option to customize the dish by adding extra ingredients, such as beef and/or eggs, to enhance the flavour. Overall, satisfactory.
I am Malaysian. In 2018, I went to Canada for a working holiday and stayed in North Vancouver for a year. During that time, the food I ate the most was Korean food, and I truly felt that the Korean restaurants there were very authentic. At that time, some of the menus were even only written in Korean.nnNow it’s already 2026, and I still really miss their food. I still think it was the best Korean food I’ve ever had. I remember the first time I tried the stir-fried pork intestines—I was so pleasantly surprised. I also remember that my husband and I couldn’t finish the food, so we packed it to go and ate it later at home with noodles. The bibimbap was also very very delicious.nnWishing them continued success and great business.
