Been here a handful of times, hot damn what a treat. Bought a sandwich, the 'valley cereal' bread was soft, fluffy and held the goodness in. Service was quick, sandwich was made with care, wrapped carefully and very flavourful. Only reason for 4 stars is because I didn't try anything else like any number of their delicious looking treats.
Everything looks and smells sssooo delicious Not only do they have baked goods, but a small cafe as well. Iced coffee for those summer roadtrips!! This is a small local bakery therefore, the selection is limited call ahead and items can be pricey
Great bakery and they have a small tea shop attached where you can get fresh homemade soups, sandwiches, etc. The pies, fresh bread, cookies, squares, all are so good and staff are very friendly. Well worth a visit. You won't regret you stopped by.
Easy access of the rail trail. Had the best tea, hot enough to burn your lips, and cinnamon rolls. ~Yum~ I was hoping to have a sit down in the cafe but it isn't open, dang. Great service and support selection of bread and bakery items. Recommend.
Always stop for coffee when I'm out this way. Service is friendly and brown buns are good.
Always delicious breakfast bagels. I call ahead and they are waiting for me when I get there. No long drive thru for microwaved food. REAL FOOD. Today was my lucky day! I managed to snag a chocolate pie! Usually, they have an amazing coconut cream pie. Can't wait until after supper! Lol
Everything is so delicious here. Forget the other sandwich places... Sourdough Bakery has the best sandwiches I have had in a long time!!!! Not to mention all the other treats you can get. For instance, coconut cream muffins!!!!! Yes they are soooo good!!
This place is nice and quaint and welcoming. The staff were friendly and nice to talk to. When you walk in you get the lovely aroma of freshly baked pies and fresh bread I would recommend getting your hands on one of there delicious apple pies or there home made rolls either way you can't go wrong!
Giving 1 star, as you are forced to. The name of this business is "Sourdough Country Bakery and Café" And it should be just called Country Café First time visiting at 11 am, no Sourdough bread. I asked if they had some, they handed me a loaf of frozen bread, that turns out to be just white bread, no sour to it, no texure as a Sourdough at all. For 5 bucks. Not happy at all. Yes, the white bread was good, yes the staff were nice. Call this a coffee shop with sweets and some bread They do not sell Sourdough bread at all.
Solid traditional sandwiches. Quick, healthy take out and yummy sweets. Staff seemed flustered by the lunch rush. Alot of people had to repeat multiple times what they wanted. I asked for swiss and ended up with cheddar. The girl working cash was rude when I asked for a detailed copy of my receipt. Overall a nice little spot to grab a quick bite.
