I LOVE SOUPÇON!! Best place to stop for a nice fresh lunch! Every soup I have tried over the years has been amazing - and the beer bread is to die for! Very affordable too I always get the regular size which is now $7.50 including your bread. It is the perfect amount of food for me. I get full, but not so full that I hate myself lol. So satisfying! Must try!
Excellent food. Wow. I’m always so impressed with the variety of soups and their delicious home baked breads. I wish they could stay open just an hour longer so that I could make it after work. When I am able to sneak out for lunch, this is where I go. Come here for the food, not the ambience - however I do find it very cozy inside when there is not a line up out the door. Their back patio is beautiful in a quaint, rustic way and I love sitting here when the weather permits.

Absolutely a hidden gem, must visit spot if you find yourself in Peterborough! Incredible soups and mind-blowing beer bread. The locals clearly know about the place as they roll through efficiently ordering their takeout.
There are many restaurants that are good, some that are great, and a very, very select few that are extraordinary. If Michelin ever made their way over, I have no doubt Soupçon would get a affordable eats distinction in their guide. Try anything they have and you’ll immediately know what I’m rambling about. The beer bread is an absolute must. The meaning of joy can be found here, for 20 mins, in a bowl of Soupçon.
Best soup and bread Ive ever had. Tried the soups with coconut chicken, and tomato with tortellini and the beer bread and all exceeded my expectations. Well seasoned and great staff. Will def go back. Only suggestion to get bigger water glasses lol.Recommended dishesTomato Soup and Beer Bread
This used to be a favourite for many years when we lived in Peterborough. During a recent visit we called and and wow. Still the same amazing food made with love.

Cozy atmosphere and friendly and fast service. Soup is flavorful and rich, while the beer bread is soft on the inside with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. The prices are great as well. It's easy to see why this place is so popular. Will definitely be back.
