Came here specifically for their mushroom soup as it’s my favorite and I read great reviews for it. Had the mushroom soup with the meatloaf sandwich - both were very delicious but a bit salty. Might visit again and try their other sandwiches perhaps there are other sandwiches that are less salty to balance out the excess salt in the mushroom soup
Cash or debit only. Loved the beef Po’ boy sandwich. Also the tomato soup was very good. Would come back to try other sandwiches. Cool little sandwich shop vibe. The couple that runs the place is nice and makes convo with the regulars.
Awesome soup and sandwiches, owners are a sweet older couple definitely best place I have been to for lunch
What a discovery! Tucked into a corner, next to a laundromat is this amazingly charming place with delicious crusty fresh bread baked in-house and fresh sandwiches. I literally saw the chef slice veggies in front of me. Awesome soups too! And the old couple who runs it are adorable and authentic! Everyone was smiling at the chefs commentary. It is heart felt happy food, made by people who love to make it. We tried to pay when we picked up the sandwich at the counter and the lady chided us loving, “it is time for food”, pay later! Will be coming here many many more times. Recommend it to anyone wanting to eat some amazing bread and soups.

Wonderful sandwich shop with an enthusiastic owner of 25 years. With the decor dating back to mid century 1900s, it’s a fun place to pick up a classic BLT club sandwich. The freshly made bread, home style feel, generous ingredients, and kind banter from the owner add to the whole experience. Don’t forget to add a soup with your sandwich, as it is freshly made daily!
Cute little shop tucked away in the corner of a strip mall, run by an adorable couple! The mushroom soup is the best I have had in a long long time. The teriyaki sandwich was good. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. The lovely couple that runs this place made the whole experience even better. The whole place has a strong family like vibe - it was like grabbing a quick bite at my grandparents' place. Absolutely loved the warmth and affection they shower on their customers. Something the world needs a lot of right now!
The sausage soup and BLT were delicious here. The fellow and the lady working, who I assume are the owners, were very friendly, and certainly make you feel welcomed into this cozy space. It seemed they had developed almost personal relationships with a couple people I seen come in or leave. They seemed very happy to have been patrons there. I would definitely revisit this place for some delicious soup and sandwich lunch. Cash or debit only here. Parking: Parking lot is quite small and adjoins other businesses. . Some free street parking available nearby.
Saw this place driving by a few times and decided to check it out today and was I in for a treat! This “hidden” gem definitely hit the spot with their soup and freshly baked bread. The bread was so tasty and the couple there were so friendly, it’s like visiting nonna’s for a nice home cooked meal. Definitely worth trying if you’re craving something simple and delightful.
Everyone raved about the home made mushroom soup but they were very salty for my family's taste. I ended up adding the same amount of hot water before drinking them. If you need to watch your sodium intake I would avoid it. Not worth the hype.Food: 3/5
