A good thing that sonic has going for it is the unique customer experience of ordering at a drive in and eating in the car. They also have a large menu which helps the more picky eaters, or those who like to try new things. We had fast service, and the food was hot. My wife enjoyed her honey BBQ popcorn chicken, although the sauce was lazily tossed and the picture clearly shows that some pieces of chicken had no sauce on them. Her tater tots were crispy and salty. She got the grape slushy with nerds. She was dissatisfied that nerds were the only candy option available and the drink was too sweet for her to finish, but it was good while it lasted. I got the double bacon cheeseburger with chili cheese tots. The cheeseburger was less than desirable, probably the worst fast food burger around. I asked for extra ketchup and got basically none on there. The bun was tough and the burger / bacon was dry. The chili cheese tots were predictably soggy but had a good chili flavor and a nice proportion of cheese. You can't really mess up tater tots, so I don't give them extra credit for being satisfactory. My cherry limeade was quite refreshing. Overall, sonic is a great choice if you want a special drink or if you want a change from a DQ blizzard, but their hot food holds them back from getting a repeat visit.

I went here for the 1st time today with my son because I went to a sonic about 20 years ago in a different state and the service was really good and the food. 1st we went to the pull up section and we waited a little bit and they said that they cannot service out there we have to back out and go through drive-through. So we went through drive-through because they cant handle the orders comming in. and it took about 20 minutes just to pull up to the ordering window and there was only 4 cars in front of me. We get up to the window in order and then we wait another 15 minutes just to get up to the window to pay. The girl came out and took the money from my car before we got to the window and brought us our drinks. I felt bad for her she looked overly exhausted and I know she was trying her best. We get up to the window and we literally sit there another 10 minutes for our food to come out and it was just 2 hamburgers and 2 fries. We pulled over to eat and the French fries were cold stale and not even edible but I did not want to go through that line again. The hamburger buns were rock hard and dry. They also told us that they couldn't service at the pull up section because they have so many online orders that they can't even help people that park outside. I'm not upset with the staff or the people that are working there I'm sure they're doing their best to get through this mess but if they can't handle online orders and what they're supposed to be doing then maybe they shouldn't even be open. Or they need to hire a lot more people to help it's not fair to the people working they're having to deal with all that. Anyways I was hoping that the long wait time would at least result in good food but I will not be going back the food really wasn't that good.
I don’t even know what to say. “Steak & Bacon Grilled Cheese” and “Large Chili Cheese fríes” 0 stars if I could. Some of the laziest cooking and serving I’ve ever seen. I’m not coming back.
Today about noon time my wife and I dined at Sonic, using their drive in parking. We ordered the cheeseburger combo and waited patiently but our order seemed to take much longer then on previous visits. No other cars were parked along the east side so we wondered why our order was taking so long. The person who took our order overcharged us and when I questioned him, he adjusted the charge by lowering the cost by $4. When we got our meals, the cheeseburgers and fries were mildly warm, not hot. The fries were strangely short, about two inches. It looked like we got the remnants of older fries. This was an unfortunate experience and may be our last at the marysville location.
I used to love it here! When I lived in Everett I would always go! I came down for a visit with family and we went and got some food. 1. the lady at the window it says Kathleen on our receipt but there was 2 people up there. She was absolutely rude! When my husband was talking she shut the window in his face 2. my order I order French fries they gave me tater tots, when we went to go back to tell them and got up to the window my husband was explaining and that’s when they shut the window on him. My husband was the one to end up eating the tater tots and he found a hair wrapped around one of them. Then last my burger was all onion just way to much in my option it was like every bite was a huge chunk.
Well, this place in particular is a complete cluster. First we ordered on the app arrived at the stall and followed instructions. This was a complete fail as no one brought us our food. This, so we then went to the drive-through, where it was obvious that they couldn’t find our order. I gave them my name 5 times. We gave them the ticket # and they finally found the order. At that point we did receive our food which was hot at least, hence the one star. However, they gave us four shakes, none of which were ours, so we walked back to the door to ask for drinks. At that point they were confused and uncertain of what to do and we had to show them the phone and they finally came out with some drinks which included shake. I use that word loosely because it was just ice cream with some toppings on top, which is not a shake. It made us all so sad we had to have a group hug when we got home.
Ordered the sonic cheeseburger and the jumbo popcorn chicken. The order taker was extremely anxiety-inducing. We wanted tater tots too but my friend forgot just because the person taking our order spoke so fast and kept asking IS THAT ALL…without allowing us to think. They didn’t have the fried cookie dough bites, which was really the only reason we came. The order taker didn’t ask if we wanted dipping sauce for the chicken…it was overall not an easy-going experience. This doesn’t make me want to come back. Maybe after the customer says I want the sonic burger, the order taker can say, okay…and then wait a second to give the customer a chance to say more. Like lord…give us a chance to breathe please.
The milkshakes have been fabulous. However. Our burgers were appeared smashed and could hardly be called "warm". Unfortunately our tater tots and fries were lukewarm and oversalted. This has happened a few times. We'll probably keep coming for the ice cream but nothing else.
Ordered online, picked up in a stall. Ordering in-stall is disabled. It's a good thing thing we weren't looking forward to that aspect of our visit. Person who brought food out did not crack a smile despite my big smile and 'thank you!' - that was disappointing. I mean, I don't expect exuberance or Disney cheerful but a response would be nice. Food was good - not greasy as I was afraid it would be, flavor was on point. Would get the food again.
