Somers Bay Cafe

Had breakfast there this morning. Waitress came by to refill drinks and asked how everything was. I told her the bacon was too well done. She walked away and did not offer to replace it. Only when she came to give us the check and noticed I had not eaten the bacon did she offer to replace it. Too late at that time since I had finished the rest. She did discount $4.50 off the bill but it would have been nice if she or the cook would have noticed how overly cooked it was before they brought it out. Won’t be going g back again!

One of the best Eggs Benedict I have ever had voy it with greeen chills and chorizo. They definitely put their heart and soul into the food!!!

The food in this local restaurant is excellent. Lot of options and meal portions are very generous. We took their fresh bread to go and it was very good. The restaurant is beautiful, only a few blocks away from the lake, full of flowers and plants and lot of outside seating options in front and in the patio area.

This place is the real deal! One of those gems the locals know about.. but others don't. Yet it is only a block off of Highway 93. The good was delicious and nice sized portions. The waitress was friendly and helpful. Turns out her brother is the owner!nI am definitely looking forward to going back again to try more items on their menu. Would also like to go back a warmer time of the year so we can dine on their outdoor patio.

Super cute place in Somers. Cute space, friendly waitress. The bucket of doughnuts is a MUST. My husband and I got the chicken fried steak and it was great. Potatoes are a little under cooked for my liking, but I like everything super crispy. Overall good experience. Fair prices.
