Solarity Credit Union

Do not recommend this bank. Their machines have issues, and instead of helping customers, the employees just stand around talking to each other. It’s incredibly frustrating when all you want to do is make a simple deposit. I’m seriously considering moving my accounts somewhere that still values real customer service and face-to-face help. Solarity feels more like a self-checkout at Walmart or Safeway than an actual bank.

I’ve had it with this bank. My card has been declined more than 4 different times now not just out of town, but also right here in town and even online. Every time I call, they blame it on “suspicious activity” if I’m out of town, but that excuse makes no sense when I’m literally trying to make a purchase locally.nnIt’s beyond frustrating. Imagine being in an emergency and not being able to use your own money because your bank keeps shutting you down. I’ve checked with the places I’m making purchases from, and there’s nothing wrong on their end it’s always the bank.nnThis is ridiculous, unreliable, and honestly unacceptable. Customers should be able to trust that their money will work when they need it most.

I do have to ssy that solarity team members are so welcoming and very helpful, i was able to open my account while In Portland and it was so easy,direct deposit was fast , i have nothing bad to say about this bank , well except there isnt enough of them through out Northwest

Make sure you have your debit card otherwise you have to wait for someone to help you withdraw inside.. pretty silly. Chase is way better. They got rid of their drive thru strictly atm now. They’re trying to be more high tech but come on.

Excellent all the way around. Solarity CU was taking care of me even when I was unaware. It does not get any better than that. Lobby staff and supervisory staff are excellent and well coordinated.
