This was a very frustrating experience. The store has a lot of great choices and brand names but the service is not good. They are way too busy for the amount of staff they have and there doesn’t seem to be any sort of format on helping customers. We went in for kids shoes and we were there over an hour. Not a great experience for kids or families. Get more staff and get a ticket/number system so people get helped in order of when they arrive.
Awesome Experience! The African American girl that works at Park Royal made myself and my husband so comfortable! I am in a wheelchair and she was the only one who walked over and greeted me with a smile! She made me feel valuable! Sorry I didn't get her name! But you are everything!!!! Thank you!!! =
I have three toddlers and it’s a lot going shopping. No one ever picks up the phone at this location. So I had to go in to return some shoes that had holes in them. I went in and the manager of course was not there. They called him and after 30 mins of wasted time the manger said they were 5 days over warranty. The sales rep told me to call customer service. I did, and CS said they will grant me a warranty extension. I returned two days later, and the manager was not there again. The staff called him and after going back and fourth he refused to take the shoes back even though it was a defect in the shoe. The managers name was Karma or Farma. I spend a lot of money there for my family of 5, out of principle I won’t be going back.
I used to go to this soft moc location only, but I feel uncomfortable in this store now. Nafise was so rude and condescending about exchanging a shoe that didn’t fit for a toddler, she was gaslighting and accusing my mom. I also asked to please cancel or send my shoes to another location and they said they are unable. Because of being so unfair and cheap over 30 dollars, they lose lots of business. The whole experience was so much tension and stress over what shouldn’t have been an issue and wouldn’t be in a store with proper management. The salesperson Neil was good though. I used to specifically come to this location cause of the good help and service. Now I refuse to go there at all. They need to teach their management basics.
Ordered a pair of boots at this location online and when I got there, they said that they didn’t have the style in stock which is quite impossible. The guy never tried looking for it at the back. I had travelled all the way from Richmond as it said that it was in stock online at this location. After asking them to check if the Granville st location had it, they magically had the pair I ordered. Had the worst experience at this store. I would not recommend for anyone to purchase shoes or even visit this store because of the poor customer service.
Variety options but you can't try cuz staff doesn't want you to try on it. I think trying shoes on makes staff feels annoying. Very low quality indian staffs service. Don't visit here. Do online shop then.
Today was the third time in 2 months that I have walked out of this location. They always have one person on and a line of people waiting to be attended to. They have nice shoes but I don’t get why they are so understaffed. The few times I have been here I have been ready to buy several pairs of shows for my family but I end up walking out and over to Shoe Warehouse where the service is good. I would say they have lost out on hundreds of dollars from me and I just saw another woman leave to. Get some staff and your store will do better :/

These guys have no idea what they’re doing, many customers were extremely frustrated with the staff, took him 20 minutes and 5 trips to the back to bring out the wrong size and the wrong colour. Astounding. They need to hire more staff, poor guy was probably taking so long because he needed to have a quick cry in the back
My wife had bought a pair of shoes from SoftMoc at the Outlet Mall In Richmond. The sales person told my wife that she could try the shoes out and if it did not work out, she can return it for a store credit at any SoftMoc outlet within 90 days. He specifically told us that a full refund is only possible within 30 days & the shoes must not have been worn. At which point we thanked him & said that we do have a SoftMoc near where we live in West Vancouver. My wife wore the shoes twice & noticed that it caused her intense pain so we decided to return the shoes for a store credit since the shoes have been worn. We went to SoftMoc at Park Royal to perform the task. The person that handled us was so rude. She look at the back of the shoes & used the term "disgusting" twice, which was uncalled for. The shoes were worn outside the house & of course the soles looked the part. She then said "she cannot take it back" as "she cannot sell it" in an infuriated tone. At this point we wanted nothing to do with this unprofessional person the assistant manager & asked to speak to the Manager instead. A nice young lady showed up & explained to us calmly that the store policy was store credit only works if the shoes were not worn outside. She then advised us to visit the SoftMoc outlet at the Outlet Mall to clear things with the sales staff there. Looking up Google Review SoftMoc Park Royal to see a business with a 2.5 rating is a clear sign to stay away. SoftMoc Corporate Office should look at this & seek immediate redress. Allowing poor customer service to fester is surely not being responsible.
