This place is stealing from people. BE AWARE. Low end products with high end prices. No sorry stealing from people prices!. This place considers themself a high end grocery store but i havent seen no high end products just high prices
Love this location for cakes my boyfriend knows how much I love Sobeys cake so he orders me a custom cake for my birthday every year. They never disappoint the cake is always fresh and tasty I will always be coming back.
Amazing, no one working in flowers, asking a cashier for help she went above and beyond the best she could do to make sure my plant was gift wrapped in presentation as it was a gift. Thank you! Presentation is everything. I think her name might have been Paula.
Friday Dec.04 2020 My first visit to this location. Fantastic experience right from the entrance, following COVID19 protocol accordingly. Well organized store, friendly staff and services, specially fresh flowers shop and lots of instore specials are the highlights of this festive season.
The employee who was in the hot foods area did not know what combos were on the menu. We asked for one of the combo options and read out to her what it said, but she didn't know or believe us so she had to get the menu sign and asked her supervisor to confirm. To top it off, she was not very polite to us either.
Love the location. The floral manager is absolutely amazing and so kind. The produce staff is also very helpful.
I went to get flower. They usually have a sale of certain section of flowers 3 bouquet for $21. I quickly picked up 3 bouquet and said the girl who was serving is that are these for 3for 21 and she said yes!. So i asked her if she could make 1 bouquet of 3. She made me one bouquet and when the time came to pay for it she said total was $48. I asked her again is it not for $21. then she said me u picked up one of the bouquet expensive one. I am like i asked you before you started making a bouquet. Long story short- i ended up paying $50 instead of 21. This is not right to misguide a client and then charge the amount. I was in a rush and wanted a bouquet so I just paid but never going again. Service is so poor. Guys before you spend on flowers make sure to ask 10 times of what you want because when its gonna be time to pay the prices are gonna shoot up and you will be blamed that you have picked up expensive one.
I usually go to sobeys to get their fresh cakes. Their cake quality is excellent and always satisfies. I got the attached cake recently and realized later that congratulations was spelt wrong with a “d” instead of a “t” I really don’t know what to say. I mean it’s no big deal, however it’ll be nice to have accurate spelling for special occasions and pictures.
A BIG shout out to Sarah in the bakery department for providing exceptional Customer Service after calling Metro for same cake order who was not helpful one ioda so for future orders, this family will definitely return and we have plenty of birthdays for cake celebrations! Hopefully your Head Office will recognize this employee and call her, "Baked Goods Hero" Also, your cashiers both female & male are to be commended on a service well rendered starting by spraying conveyer belt right up to providing a receipt. One negative point about this location: this parking lot is very congested and a little small for the amount of customers who shop here.Keep up the good work at your front entrance to help keep us safe!
