Food at Sobeys is more expensive than most other stores in Saskatoon, for the same level of quality. I've come here Sunday morning just before noon to find only one till open, backed up by 4 or 5 massive carts of food. I just put my stuff away and left. The self checkout should be open all the time, not blockaded off at irregular frequency. For all the "workers are heroes" wording that Sobeys preaches, they sure seem to have a hard time staffing the store. Perhaps offering higher wages will make people feel more valued than just being called "heroes".
Iceberg lettuce was on sale. The next day, I went to make a salad and found it mostly brown. No wonder it was on sale.
Self check doesn't seem to always work, and only 1 checkout is open. Can be slow. Otherwise, it's good
Prices just went up...would recommend shopping elsewhere. Service ok, selection great, but same goods can be found for cheaper prices. Shop around.
Just pulled a giant hair out of a lemon bar cake we purchased there, atleast it was the first and only bite we took from it
