Sobeys Liquor Barrhead

I have no idea where the other lady from the review went but it was not Sobeys Liquor, I can tell you that. I also use to shop at the Back Door and once I seen how amazing Sobeys is I switched. they have always been so nice to me and have helped me out everytime I have been in there. The prices are great and they even helped carry my purchase out. Plus they have Air Miles! the other review, sadly sounds like a bad advertisement for the Back Door and not a actual review because if you went to the store you would see how different they are. 5 stars. I will never shop anywhere else again.

I'm not a fan. Service is not great and the other liquor stores in Barrhead are cheaper than a lot of there sale prices.

This was by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Usually I go to Back Door Liquor Store but instead I decided to see the prices at Sobeys (which were more expensive if you like to buy your liquor and beer in bulk). I visited on a Thursday and the store smelled horrible like body odor and the cashier was quite rude. Normally I am greeted when I enter a store but instead when i went to purchase my liquor I had to search for whoever was working and couldn't find what i was looking for. Once I had finally been served the larger woman gave me a dirty look, rolled her eyes and asked me if that was everything, it seemed like she was trying to shoo me out of the store. Although the store was quite clean the floors were sticky and the cooler was packed and hard to walk through. Also the cases of beer were stacked so high to the point where I didn't even bother getting myself a 12 pack. The staff need to be more respectful and maintain their hygiene. I was quite disgusted!!! My family and I are never going to go back there and I hope Sobeys reconsiders their staff!
