Self serve checkouts suck. Can never get through without an issue. And the store is not open 24 hours.
The prices have gone crazy and you are your own cashier because they don't open enough actual cashes. I'm get a little tired of all these self checkouts. What was wrong with the old way of doing it. You came in bought your groceries and you could interact with the cashier and have a good day. Now you do it yourself and then wait for someone to help you and not just once but multiple times. I'm not a cashier nor do I work here so why am I doing their job.
Hours are incorrect - see attached photo for correct open/close times. I have tried to request edits to them several times but someone keeps changing them back to 24 hours.nnFeel free to toss a thumbs up on this so others can see and won't make the same mistake as others assuming that they are back to being open 24hrs.
I very much enjoy this Sobeys for their cleanliness and variety of products. However, they clearly do not anticipate customer demand and, therefore do not staff accordingly. I went today after they had been closed for a stat holiday - every check out line was lined up down the aisles, almost to the back of the store.
I like Sobeys better than Superstore. Prices are a bit higher than the competition so I only rated 4 stars.
