The food was amazing and just melted in my mouth. The malts were delicious. They have portions on the larger side so keep that in mind. Everything was very clean and nice. The staff were all very happy and fun. Overall it was a great first time there and my girlfriend and I plan to come back and bring friends next time!Food: 5/5
Really good burgers. I've been by here dozens of times and we decided to give it a go. Nothing fancy, just solid service and food. Isn't that what you look for? I will certainly stop again. Oh and the french fry orders are huge and delicious.
This is such a sensational throwback diner/malt shop...we love stopping in. The decor/vibe is really on point...along with the classic tunes playing on the [modern-day] jukebox. They have ample seating...including a few extra-large circular booths. In the warmer months...there is also plenty of patio seating outdoors. The menu has varied options of burgers/sandwiches...side options such as fries...or...onion rings/etc...salads...and of course: ice cream specialties. They even have old school phosphates/ice cream sodas/etc. Everything on the menu is ala carte. The regular size order of any side is more than enough to feed two to three people. The family size will easily feed about five. The prices are very fair considering the portion sizes. A half-sized shake/malt is still much more than one malt glass full---you get the extra in the tin...and...the list of flavors is quite extensive. The butterscotch one is my fave-fave. You always leave there full. The food has always been very delicious...cooked as it should be for the type of restaurant it is...kinda greasy but...full of flavor. [Don't worry...there's plenty of napkins on the table. Haha!] The service is quick...and...friendly. The staff is all really efficient. They keep the soda refills coming...and...check back frequently. This is one of our neighborhood go-to spots...we'll always return...and...recommend.
I recently visited Snuffy's Malt Shop in Bloomington and ordered a burger, fries and a malt. The service was good and the food arrived quickly. The server checked back a few times to see how I was doing. The food was good and for $15 I thought the price was very reasonable.
Quick service at lunch time, the fish and chips was much better than expected. The coating had what i consider an ideal tempura texture. Went perfect w a vanilla malt w extra malt powder.

Our son-in-law enjoys good burgers so when we got coupons for Snuffy's Malt Shop, we had a family outing there. I ordered the Big Mike and the table ordered onion rings with honey mustard and chipotle mayo dipping sauces. The Big Mike was very good but not outstanding so I rate it a 4/5. The onion rings were above average with crispy fried batter and cooked just right onions were not mushy but tender enough to bite or pinch off pieces without pulling the onion out of the breading. I give the rings a 4.5/5. The prices are quite reasonable making this venue a good value. Probably will return to try other offerings but there are so many other places to explore yet knowing how way leads on to way.....
I had a bacon cheese burger and Snuffy's brownie delight. The brownie is huge!!! Jeremy and Lynee helped me with the pick up order. They are awesome! Snuffy's is awesome. Update August 23, 2021: Snuffys never disappoints! Our waiter was Annie and she was amazing and so attentive! Shot out to McKenzie as she is such a fantastic worker and helpful person! This visit I finally had a malt for the first time. No surprise there that it was delicious. I had the fudge-scottie malt with brownie pieces. Yummy! You must eat at this place! I've always had good experiences here!! Update September 12, 2021: Fantastic service as always! Nate was our server this time, he made my day at Snuffy's! Came back same day and Grace was our server next. Same awesome service as always! Love Snuffys.
My husband loves cherry malts, but hardly orders them any more because they never meet his expectations and he's tired of being disappointed. Well, this malt DID NOT disappoint. He was so satisfied with it! We ordered 2 other malts that were just as good. We also ordered a family size order of fries and onion rings. Both items were so good- Those onion rings, though!! Everyone thought they were delicious. Wheelchair accessibility: Had a ramp from lot to sidewalk.
