If you are visiting South Bend or Notre Dame the Snite is a wonderful place to visit. Free of charge and full of fantastic collections. There are three levels that progress from oldest to contemporary.
This is a great place to spend an afternoon with the art lover in your life. The exhibits are well thought out and displayed. Plenty of information is provided for the pieces.
Some very unique pieces and interesting different exhibits. A must visit on campus ! Hidden right across the street from the stadium.
Great collection of art. A bit of everything. Several Renaissance era madonna and child pieces. Several galleries and three floors of art. A great asset on the Notre Dame campus.
I work on campus and rarely get inside the Snite. My daughter's class had a field trip and I was able to join them. Lovely collection. Wish I could have stayed longer and hope to come back soon.
Nice art museum with a nice list of activities and programs no fee they just have a donation box. Well worth the trip plus you get to see some of the Notre Dame campus. Located on the NW corner of the football stadium
A breath of fresh air. This made my Notre Dame visit even better.
The Snite is a good place. The permanent collection is always fun to go through, and there is always something new to see as they switch out temporary shows. Be sure to go to the sculpture garden too.
This museum and the cathedral are the best places to visit at Notre Dame. Very good paintings from many time periods.
