I was n a business trip to St. Thomas today ... I asked my customers what the best burgers in the area were ... and they pointed me here. Was expecting a standard chip wagon fare, but I was pleasantly surprised. My order was placed quickly, even with my customizations. After a short, and "well worth the while" wait my food arrived. The burger was amazing! Single patty, double bacon and all the fixings ... deelish! The rings were crispy and well seasoned, and the fries were also perfectly seasoned, I would have liked them a tiny bit more crispier. The food was so good, that I can't wait for my next drive to beautiful St. Thomas, just so that I can come back here.
Great burgers, great prices, delicious fries. Small little joint off the side of the road but really amazing fresh food. You order your food outside the shop in one window and wait for them to give to you fresh in the next.Food: 5/5
I have driven by this place for many years and never stopped in. I finally tried it and will definitely be back! The fries are so good. I would say even better than a very famous place down in Port! The staff and owner were very friendly and even took the time to come over and ask how we enjoyed the food. We will definitely be back. I can’t wait to try something else from the menu.
I recently visited Herms and it was great. Service and food! There was a mixup on my order and the staff took care of it in the best way possible. These folks certainly know how to run their operation. Nobody is perfect especially when it is busy but it is how you react that makes the difference! Thanks Food: 5/5
Top notch service and food! I ordered online so I can go pick it up during my lunch break. The online ordering is very easy and straight forward! My order was ready when I got there and it was made fresh. I the fried pickles were fresh and the burger was out of the world delicious. Will definitely be going back with the family to try more stuff off the menu.

Wow wow wow this pontine is the best I’ve ever had. So glad I researched reviews for this place!! I’m in Pountine heaven….. wish we could get this place in Minnesota!! Went back for second order before I left for the states. I will miss having your poutine!! Service is top notch and friendly and fast!! Thank you for your hospitality!!
Great little find. Hidden out of the way but worth finding. A large very busy chip truck that is busy for a reason. Good food fair prices made to order. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.
I've been waiting to try this place for about a year. Covid kind of prevented me from going on the days I could. The price is a bit steep BUT. I will stand by any place with slightly higher Price as long as their food and service is top notch. And that it was. My 6 year old ate more of this burger then any burger shes ever ate so far. We will be back for our once in awhile Good fry questing. I also wanna try that popcorn chicken pouting. Cheers.
As the Pier in Port Bruce has changed hands and doesn't make poutine dishes, thought I'd try Hermes as I hadn't been there since their renovations. Oxford Dictionary defines "poutine" - a dish of French fries topped with cheese curds and gravy. So for $11.99 I get a type of poutine, but to find I'm charged $2.00 extra for cheese curds?? Next time you'll be charging me for gravy? If you serve "poutine" it's a given that it would include "cheese curds" by definition, not be charged extra. No one else in Elgin County charges extra for "cheese curds" on their poutine. And the $7.00 milkshake that was supposedly coffee mocha was more like chocolate. The poutine was good, just shocked I had to pay additinal for an item that is the tradional part of the "recipe". Won't be back.
