Hands down the BEST turkish store in Canada! Summary: The owners of the store are really kind and professional. They were extremely helpful and fast in delivering our products. All of the items were received within 24 hours. Amazing service as well as really fresh, delicious, and top notch quality products! You cannot find such high quality authentic Turkish products somewhere else! This is now our favorite Turkish store, aka our new "Bakkal" which means neighborhood store. Details: This review is regarding our first online purchase from Smyrna Laz Bakkal that we placed yesterday. Within 12 hours, surprisingly, we received the delivery. We had a question regarding our delivery and contacted the owners of the store. They are AMAZINGLY FRIENDLY and helped to resolve our questions regarding the shipment. All of the products are amazing. Here are the ones we had a chance to try out: 1 Simit Tukish Bagels are amazingly fresh and taste like the ones you would get in Istanbul. Put some butter on it and enjoy a visit to Heaven! 2 Olives were amazing as well 3 The pastries are also really delicious and fresh. 4 The sucuk tastes SO good! Would definitely recommend it. 5 The lahmacun Turkish pizza is much better than the ones you would eat at a Turkish restaurant in Toronto. Really well made! Overall a really pleasant purchase. Most importantly, the owners are AMAZINGLY friendly and kind people. I could easily say that their kindness is such a good reflection of true Turkish hospitality!
I love this place. Discovered it by chance the first week it opened and have been coming back ever since whenever I'm in the neighbourhood. Aci biber, sucuk, pide, simit, manti, those cookies with the liquid chocolate inside — they're all here! Sometimes, when a particular employee is working, they have delicious cig kofte! Lovely owners and staff.
My go-to turkish market for over 2 years now, but recently they are missing everything I’m looking for. It’s just a waste of time to go there for a specific purchase. My last 5 visits were a total disappointment. Only reason I’m not giving 1 star is staff is friendly as always.
My favourite Turkish market in town. They are so friendly. You can find Your favourite cheese, olives, tea, Turkish coffee, snacks and dessert. You can even find traditional tea pots and Turkish coffee pots. Prices are decent. Definitely worth the trip.

Nice place, good products and smiling faceEspecially the soucuk from Montreal is very delicious. The taste is at least as good as the butcher's sausages in Turkey. Also, I recommend Pinar white cheese in the water full fatty. I hadn’t seen this cheese in Turkey, and its taste is delicious.
They sell perfect size pack of ready to cook Manti. I try to visit this store to buy Manti and check new options in food whenever I visit Danforth.

I was like a kid in a candy store. : After today, it is my favorite Turkish store. The whole place is very clean. Great location and products at reasonable prices.
