Great bbq and just off the side of the road! Nice staff and I like the outdoor seating. Please note that it is outdoor seating only on wooden tables and benches. Nice atmosphere and solid bbq. Brisket is only available by the sandwich and not by the pound.
Great little place tucked away next to DQ — stopped for lunch, the owner is super friendly with a big smile. I had the brisket with a side of Mac and cheese, and spoon bread aka corn bread this is a down south recipe you have to try when you stop in this spoon bread it’s amazing.
My favorite BBQ place. I since have moved away from the area but also have to come back and visit when I’m in town. Love the food and love the owners. Amazing people. The outdoor seating area and awning are also a super cute addition.Recommended dishesBrisket Sandwich, Baked Beans
Great customer service. They did not habe what i came for. BRISKET!! Still a must try if you're in the area and want some BBQ
Pros: I will say the brisket was not lacking in flavor. It was quite delicious. Congrats to them for the recent award! I can also appreciate the brochette buns they use for the brisket sandwich. Cons: it would have been nice to have the bun warmed. It was cold bringing down the temp of the meat. I also wish they offered some sort of sauce for the sandwich bbq perhaps instead of just bun and meat. The baked beans were a bit too sweet for me. But I will try them out again to see about the rib tips.
At first we couldn't find it. Lol It's behind the Dairy Queen off of Hwy 51. The food was fantastic!! We tried a little of everything. Loved loved loved the spoon bread. They would do well with a larger size priced just a little higher.........it's like dessert. :Food: 5/5
We stopped on the way through and man Oh man!!! This place was nothing short of AMAZING! excellent staff, the food was probably one of thee best I have ever had! I'm hoping this place ends up on Guy Fieri's show Diners Drive-ins & Dives!! This is show worthy and we are definitely stopping everytime we take the trip!
First time stopping here. Ribs are phenomenal, and the pulled pork is tender and juicy! Sauce is a little thin but great umami flavor. Woman working the register was very nice and got my order in 10 mins. FORWARNING: depending on when you go, there may be a longer wait for certain hot items so keep that in mind. Highly recommended! Kid-friendliness: They have Mac n cheese as a side. Parking: Gravel lot in front of business. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs or curbs.
Fantastic American BBQ. Clearly run by someone who has a love of food. The Spoon Bread is a must-try. Portions and prices are reasonable. There is a small amount of seating, outdoor only.Recommended dishesBrisket Sandwich, Spoon Bread, Pulled Pork w Fry
The place smelt amazing from the parking lot! Greeted with a smile and warm welcome. The menu is simple, but has all the good stuff. Ribs, brisket & rib tips were amazing, great smoke flavor and very tender. The spoon cornbread was fantastic, sweet & good texture. Highly recommend this spot!
