Everything about here was lovely. Chris and Karen are such a lovely couple. The food was amazing. The beef brisket was amazing, so was the fried mac and cheese. The pastry was beyond good. They just make them on the weekends. Definitely give it a try specifically on sunny days that you can enjoy the view.
Wish I could give 4.5 stars, as overall the food was delicious. I got the brisket sandwich, and the flavour and zingy bbq sauce were amazing. The slight disappoint were the fries. Their menu says they are double fried, but unfortunately they weren’t crispy as expected. Would recommend for delicious bbq, but suggest more time in the fryer for the fries! And make sure you check out early as they close at 6:30.
This place is fantastic! Had the jackfruit sandwich and the rib platter. So good that we went twice during our trip. Service was great - polite and courteous.
Quick service, really tasty food. The brisket sandwich was delicious and the poutine gravy gluten free! Is mouth watering, a must try! Service was also 10/10. The only part I did not like was the coleslaw because it did not have that traditional coleslaw sauce flavour, but still good.
I was looking for a fish and chips. They just offered me sturgeon taco and chips with a great view of Gibson’s Landing Harbour. She offered me a dry pillow and a blanket. It rained a lot that morning: so some of the pillows were almost wet.
Luv smoked meat but decided on a lighter version. The salad topped with beef brisket was recommended and was absolutely amazing! Enjoyed the smoked cherry tomatoes and local greens. Hubby had his favorite pulled pork sandwich with fries. The fries were perfectly seasoned and not overstated. Must go back and try the deep fried mac and cheese. No pictures since we devoured our meals in a jiffy.
We had a pulled pork platter and a salmon sandwich, both were great! So fresh! The setting is wonderful! It was very busy at dinner time, but the food came reasonably quick. Be mindful that the seats are limited, so if you want to sit it’s better to come not at prime times they also close at 630 pm.
Did a take out of pulled pork and the beef sandwiches. Love the Smokey flavor from the real firewood they use! Amazing way to enjoy a nice lunch in our own patio. Has a cute little patio if you wanna dine and enjoy the marina views too.
Very good pulled jackfruit sandwich and Sturgeon Tacos. The view and the breeze there is incredible. Wish they had a bigger seating area and also served beer. But besides these two, highly recommend going there for the food!
I had the brisket sandwich with a side of coleslaw to cut the sweetness of the brisket. It is extremely tender and flavourful. The sauce is a tad bit sweeter than I'm use too. If possible, I would recommend you share this sandwich as an open face sandwich so you can try other things as it is a bit on the pricy side and you get only 2.5 slices of brisket in your sandwich. It wasn't as filling as I thought it could have been. It's located beside an awesome view of the pier and boats.
