Dr. Wanamaker and his team were extremely helpful with a dental emergency even though we are not regular patients and visiting from out of town. The team stayed after hours to help our family.

I've been a patient in this practice for nearly 40 years, and despite living in other US cities and overseas locations. my dental care always brings me back to Smiles of Skaneateles. The office has always been patient/customer focused, and the professional staff - from the front desk to the back offices - make every visit a welcoming experience. When I've had to have dental work done abroad, the dentists invariably comment on the top quality of the work I've had done here. I recommend, without hesitation or reservation, Smiles of Skaneateles. Their preventative care, restorative care, and cosmetic care are always at the leading edge of dental innovation, and their customer service is second to none.
My wife and I have been patients of Smiles of Skaneateles for at least 2 decades, and we have loved the dentists -- Gard Lory in particular -- every since! Very professional all of them! Nurses and hygienists included. Like with so many professions, my philosophy has always been, "if you find a professional you like and respect -- just stay with 'em!" Love everyone there in that Skaneateles Dental Office!
I have been a patient of Dr. Smith for over 10 years. I have always had a great experience when I go to Smiles of Skaneateles, they are always very polite and welcoming when I arrive. When I am in the chair, I appreciate that Dr. Smith thoroughly communicates what he is doing and regularly checks to verify that I am comfortable and not in pain. He also gives me all the treatment options so that I am part of the conversation when it comes to my care.
Dr. Wanamaker is very knowledgeable on the latest dental literature and trends. The staff at Smiles of Skaneateles is always so wonderful.
I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Wanamaker for years and have always been impressed by his eagerness to learn to provide the best dentistry he can for his patients. He’s up to date on the latest in the field to do things the right way through comprehensive care.
I recently switched my dentist office to Smiles of Skaneateles. I visited with Dr. Wanamaker, he was very thorough and took the time with me to make sure I was comfortable and knowing what was going on. The transition was easy and the staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend this office and Dr. Wanamaker to anyone that is looking for a new or first dentist
Always had a great experience here. Recently had two fillings replaced, it was amazing how seamless Dr. Walawender made the process. I didn't have any sensitivity in my teeth at all after the procedure, even when drinking cold liquids. Everyone in this office has always been courteous and professional. My wife was happy when we moved to Skaneateles because she now would be closer to her favorite dentist.
I recently needed a crown and was definitely not looking forward to the procedure. However, Dr. James Wanamaker thoroughly discussed the procedure with me ahead of time and completed the crown perfectly and painlessly! I would highly recommend Dr. Wanamaker. He is very professional and knowledgeable.The staff at Smiles Of Skaneateles is amazing too!
