Locked us in right after serving us ice cream. They knew we came by car and served us ice cream but didn’t say that they are closing so we have to leave now. One of us had to yell to get the staff that were leaving to unlock the gate and let us out. 2/3 staff ignored us and one begrudgingly opened the gate. I understand giving 15 year olds jobs but you need to have a responsible adult there. How is there no rule about making sure there’s no one left inside before locking the gate. We thanked the staff member that let us out and she just seemed annoyed. This place used to be run very well but lately it’s just children running the place. We will not be returning.

Very clean and well organized operation. The store is fully stocked with most things you need at the cottage plus they have amazing ice cream. Staff are friendly and the marina service is top-notch. A well-run family business!
I have known and done business with the Smart family for many years. Steve and Pauline are loving and caring people and it certainly shows in the way they run their business. We enjoy every opportunity we have to visit them on the Mazinaw. I have purchased everything from pontoon boats and outboard motors to ice cream cones and always been 100% satisfied. Highly, highly recommended!

One stop shopping for all your boating and camping needs! Full service Marina with all the amenities. Conviniently located on the south tip of beautiful Mazinaw Lake, Bon Echo Provincial Park. We stop in every year for the best soft serve ice cream!!!

Helpful staff and good selection of camping supplies, like milk and ice. Also, sell large blocks of ice which is much better for the cooler.
