Boutique at its best. We couldn’t believe the beauty of these rooms. We stopped in for the night yet ended relaxing 3 days to rest and beach with our kids. The Murphy bed was a surprise we didn’t even know we had until day two.nWe will be back again and again. Slocan is such a lovely little town to spend time in and this new addition to the town is perfect. Such care has been put into restoring the building and creating such a unique place. The rooms are great and the air conditioning is a bonus. The restaurant downstairs is adorable and laid back. Come and stay or come for a meal, it's all great!

The food was not only delicious, but the portions were impressively generous, and the pricing was very affordable.nnWhat truly stood out, however, was the extraordinary service during a challenging situation. While in Salmo, my car unexpectedly broke down, leaving me in a tough spot. The owner of the Slocan City Hotel couldn't have been more helpful. He went out of his way to assist me, helping me call local tow truck companies, ensuring we had plenty of water, and consistently checking in to make sure we were okay. This level of service truly went above and beyond my expectations.nnWithout a doubt, I would choose to stay at the Slocan City Hotel again. The exceptional service, the beautifully appointed rooms, the convenient location, and the affordable dining options make this hotel a standout choice. Johnny was an awesome host and the suite is a lovely place to hunker down. Neat decorations and a cozy space.
