It was amazing to stop in and have a burger and a beer. We drove our cycles over 500 miles to visit slippery's and to see the place first hand. Took the east side scenic route on Wisconsin side back up north. Next time we'll stop in with a larger group on a putt thru the area.
What a cool venue! Right on the river, great views! We didn't get a chance to eat here, by we will when we come back! We've heard it's very good! They have live music too! That's cool!!
We stopped on our way home. Plenty of parking. Outdoor bar and seating. Was a perfect day to sit and have a great bloody Mary. The views of the river are awesome. Watching eagles soar, and barge go down the river.
Just not all it's hopped up to be. It's good, but wouldn't drive over an hour to stop there special. The gal working in the gift shop was outstanding, and our service was excellent overall. Just think COVID got in the way of a more positive experience. We WILL stop again!
Love this place! Awesome chicken salad sandwich and slippery spuds are a must!
Excellent food and friendly staff. Beautiful view on Mississippi River. Has a gift shop connected for the movie "Grumpy Old Men."
