Stole 16,000 from me too! They would not answer my phone calls, they would not repsond to my email requests! I FINALLY had the band removed! It DOES NOT WORK! IT IS ALL B.S. THE doctor told me that if the band doesn't work for you, it is not the band, it is your fault! I had to travel from my province to Toronto, ON to have the surgery, then i had to go back again because the "fill" dr. In my province said she couldn't get the fill in. Slim band had to reposition the port. So that was 2 surgeries. And it still didn't work. I kept calling, and i kept teying to schedule appointments for fills, and they CONTINUED to ignore me! This company was on CBC Market Place, and Market Place proved them to be a scam! They have ripped off so many people! Bottom line is, people who need help losing weight, must find themselves a really, really good doctor who is compassionate, understanding, and helpful. And who can guide anand support you on your journey. Don't give up, and DO NOT LET THESE THIEVES STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!
