My faith in waxing has been restored. After suffering from multiple butchered wax jobs throughout the city even at really reputable chains..., I discovered Slick through some Google research. I am so grateful for the day I found Slick Wax Bar. Antoanet my name sake has absolutely changed the game for my waxing experience in Toronto and she has set the bar VERY high. I don’t see myself going to get waxed anywhere else. Of all the places I’ve been, I’ve never had such a great experience. Antoanet is so friendly and personable. Her personality is very kind and caring and she demonstrates that with how she communicates with her clients but also in her work. She is very knowledgeable about safe waxing practices she does not double dip, wears gloves, and the space is sanitized. She pays great attention to detail and will often alternate between different types of wax to ensure that she gets all of the hairs. She also gives you tips on how to care for your skin and products to use. At the time of this post I’ve gone to Antoanet 4 times in a row and my skin has changed drastically. I would recommend that women of colour and women with stubborn hairs go here to get intimate waxing done. You will see the difference!
