We went twice First day we all had lobsters. The butter was really good. Their two servers Laurie and the other girl are awesome. they really took care of our 2 year old daughter. Second day we had their salads and fish cakes. Was also really good.
The food was great, the beer cold and the view incomparable! Add to that a night of live entertainment with traditional Newfoundland and Irish tunes... We'll, I never left until they closed the place down!!
While visiting Bona Vista my husband and I went here for dinner. It is a fabulous restaurant with amazing seafood and other items as well. The staff is incredible and the food was divine!! Awesome atmosphere, on the water front. My husband had his first taste of Iceberg Quidi Vidi beer here. Thank you for a memorable dinner in Bonavista :
Recently came here for supper. Food was very great, food was big portions. Staff members was friendly and welcoming. Prices were a bit overpriced.
Best seafood lasagna! Loads of big chicks of seafood in it. Amazing service! The ladies were all very nice I recommend reserving a window seat, you get a nice view of the harbour. Some of their items can sell out if enough people order it. So if what you wanted is out, try the next day! That's what we did. Got something else and returned the next day. Loved all the dishes we tried. Big portions. If you miss veggies out here, this is your best bet! Big salads and fresh steamed broccoli available. Didnt see broccoli anywhere else this whole week
Delicious meals and clean comfy accommodation. Best place to stay in. Try the lasagne seafood and local mussels entree as the sun sets. Iceberg beer is a must as well. Friendly staff and family feel. Thank you for making me feel so welcomed to your beautiful town.
We enjoyed our breakfast. The place was spacious and not busy when we went there early morning. Service was good and price was reasonable. Food itself was fresh and good. Toasts were nice.
Beautiful restaurant, lovely decor but food was cooked from frozen and was overpriced. I could've bought the same packaged food at a grocery store for less. Menu was pretty typical of a Newfoundland / fish and chips restaurant. Service was polite but not fantastic, in fact both servers were hardly around to be seen but could be heard chatting behind walls. Restaurant was not busy at all.

The restaurant is cute and quaint, sitting on the ocean with a nice view of the harbour and with locally crafted items strewn about. The price of beer was excellent and they had a great selection. We ordered the feature of the day, Lobster rolls with salad and onion rings. To our dismay, this “roll” left us confused…we were unsure if it was a feature or a special. We expected a fresh roll but we were served a sandwich bun that was cold and old and made us wonder if the lobster was fresh. That being said, the lobster mix did taste good and the onion rings and salad were really tasty and huge! The service left much to be desired. We waited for quite some time as there was no staff to be seen, once we were seated the service mildly improved, however, our server was a bit curt but she was nice enough. Unfortunately, we likely will not return to this establishment on our next trip.
