Although the service was friendly the food was below average and quite bland. I had the grilled chicken burger ... could not finish it; chicken was probably caged, barely one leaf of lettuce, one slice of whitish unripened tomato and some evidence of mayo. The fries were obviously from frozen. So much for "home cooking"

Great no frills small town cafe! Super nice waitress, great prices and straightforward food. Had French toast with hash browns - generous portion and tasted great! Kid-friendliness: We had three kids ourselves and were in there with many kids from a hockey tournament and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
Good service and food is great! I got the bacon cheddar burger and it was really good. They have a few different styles of fries. Home-cooked were awesome! Eat here, breakfast lunch and dinner!!

Well priced and very small town vibes. I loved seeing a bunch of younger kids work there, reminds me of my restaurant gig as a kid in my small town. The younger fella helping us out was such a sweet heart. The food was super yummy as well!
Really good home made burger, excellent flavour. Fries were hot and crispy and went very well with the delightful gravey.
Stopped by for lunch. Very friendly service and large portions. Tasty food. Kids loved the chocolate milkshake. Would stop by next time we are passing by lumby.
