As locals we want to support area restaurants, but the Depot is out of chances. The service is good but the quality and presentation of the food continues to disappoint. They seem to always be out of staple menu items, or using stretching thin food supplies by serving stale or less than fresh items.
Sisters Depot is my favorite restaurant in sisters. Their fried chicken sandwich or fried chicken skewers are my favorite thing to order. I absolutely love their food. But don’t miss out on brunch and their chicken and waffles! Incredible place with incredible drinks too. Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free options
warm and amazing hospitality here! we only had hot drinks inside during a coldish sunset -they were fresh and quickly made, delicious and satisfying. we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and appreciate the caring staff. thanks so much sisters depot team!!
Stopped in on day trip from bend. I had my 5-year-old with me, and this place was amazing. He's extremely well-behaved and very much enjoyed the food here. Our server recommended a vanilla Italian soda for him, and the sauce that came with his tots was outstanding! I had a meatball sandwich and again it was outstanding! I'd definitely recommend this place, and I'll be stopping in again! Parking: Even with all the weekend traffic on the main, finding a close spot wasn't an issue.
Our family was in town this week for a 50th wedding anniversary. I had called early in the day to make a reservation for 10. We arrived and unfortunately there was a miscommunication and their staff were not aware of our reservation. Nevertheless, they were kind enough to accommodate our party. When we were there, we noticed that there were only two people working- possibly the cook and the server. A HUGE shout out to the staff who showed up that day and kept a smile on their faces and made their customers feel welcome, despite their shortage of help. That cannot be easy. In this day and age where supplies are hard to come by and restaurants are short staffed- does it do any of us any good to write awful, self-entitled reviews of a business just trying to keep their doors open? Do us all a favor- if you have nothing constructive or positive to say… just stay at home and make your own meals to your liking. My family and I enjoyed our dinner- the food was very good and we would definitely return if in town again. Thank you to the server who seated us, took our drink orders, food orders, dessert orders… all with patience and a smile. You are appreciated.
I heard the ownership changed in the past year, and boy does it show. This place just continues to go downhill. The chicken sandwich is decent but that’s about all, terrible presentation, and don’t even think about breakfast.
I enjoyed the Portobello sandwich. My daughter had the mini hamburgers. Courtyard is beautiful. Prices were very good. Great value.
Service was very good. A/C wasn't working and it was 102F outside so that was a negative. Most found food OK . Do NOT order the Reuben Sand. Big bread 1/2 the meat it should have. Next time I'm in Sisters I'll try a different place. Update to review: - I appreciate the Owner's response to my review. I would emphasize that the service was great. No one else in our party had any issues with the food, all were satisfied, But I feel honest feedback is important to provide the owner with opportunities for improvement. If the heat is an ongoing issue, I would suggest perhaps some ceiling fans may help. A couple ceiling fans would have made a big difference with the heat inside. I would also say if it hadn't been for the Reuben the review would probably be a 4-star. But the Reuben had at most 2 ounces of corned beef probably less- and at $16 that's a little light. Given the prompt and positive response from the Owner I've increased my rating to 3-start. Ongoing great "service". I know how much work goes into a small business so wish you the best and will stop in next time I'm in Sisters!
Really enjoyed our lunch today. We ate outside with our little dog and we were all made very welcome. I had a flat bread and husband had the meatloaf sandwich, both very good. Our server was great!
I had the depot burger with a GF bun and it was just about the best burger I have ever had. There was live music. Definitely a must stop if you are going through town
