Went there today for my first time and it's amazing. Fast service and huge portions and delicious! The couple working were very friendly. I also love how they import a few groceries from Newfoundland! I finally found a place where I can get pickled green tomato chow chow I will return!
Amazing fish and chips! Best I've had in a very long time. My spouse and I ate here for the first time and we'll deffinetly be going back. We both ordered the Halibut and it was very tasty and a very nice portion. If I could give more then 5 stars I would.
My boyfriend and I went here on Friday and we got some Halibut and poutine to go. WOW! The fish was so delicious; batter was perfect and fish was cooked to perfection. The fresh cut fries, cheese curds and gravy was a good portion size and tasted amazing. The owners were great and service was fast. Highly recommend this place.
Best Fish & Chips place around! Great for a quick bite or a sit-down meal, the food comes really quickly and everyone there is really friendly. Tried the haddock fish & chips and the fish was amazing. The chips themselves aren't the best I've eaten but are overall still delicious. Would definitely go here again.
This is the only dining room I have been where the lady owner gave a young military man a hard time because he wanted dessert and he had not finished his order. She went over to him and asked him his mother’s phone number. She then made a long distance call to New Brunswick and told his mother he had not finished his dinner - could he have dessert? I found this humorous and touching at the same time..As usual, the food was excellent. The fish is lightly battered and cooked to perfection. The fries are always hot and fresh. My favourite fish and chip shop.
I am so glad I took a detour and found this place. I was craving fish and chips and wasn't disappointed at all. As a matter of fact I'm not sure I've had better fish and chips. The batter was perfect and the portions were great. Next time it won't be a detour it will be a planned stop. If you're ever in the area and feel like fish and chips. This is your spot.
Their fish and chips are always so fresh and delicious! It's the perfect fish to batter ratio, never greasy and great portions. Their staff is so nice and I haven't found another restaurant in the area that even comes close to their fish and chips.
Such a wonderful restaurant. Fantastic East Coast cooking, with huge portions and run by the most incredible people. It was our first stop when moving from Fredericton, NB to Angus, ON and it made us not miss the East Coast as much.
I enjoyed my third visit to this little gem...never been disappointed with my meal. This place is cozy and decorated with a cheesy paint job of an coastal theme but that just adds to the quaint homey feel. We always have the Halibut and chips, generous portions for an excellent price $12.99 The older couple are very pleasant and after dinner we were given a chocolate...nice touch.
Love it! We go here often, the service is always super friendly and the food is great! We always order the halibut & chips, we've never been disappointed. The portions are large and the food is made perfect! Thank you! This has quickly become one of our favorite places to visit.
