It was worth seeing it once. The kids like to be able to walk out so and still be able to touch. I tried getting photos of how far they were but they were just specs in the shot. I will probably not go back. $30 for parking more then I wanted to pay.
A beautiful beach to walk if you ever visit Tobermory, don’t miss out this place. The water is so clean and place is so calm in itself is adorable. There is also a walking area of around 500 m long. Must visit place.
A fun beach with great views, clear water, and lots of space to walk/enjoy the beach. My only issue is the price of admission and parking. The price of admission plus parking for 2 people was nearly $30. Pricey, but if you spend several hours enjoying the beach it’s worth it. There are also benches for a picnic or if you need a place to sit that isn’t in the sand. The pavilion offers some shade but you should pack an umbrella to keep out of the sun.
It was just ok, probably wouldn't return. The water was very clear and super shallow for what felt like forever so it's great for infants and small children. There was a terrible smell lingering in the air the whole time though, almost like a sewage smell and the sand is very wet everywhere, not powdery, so take a beach chair or tent.
Really great beach for younger kids given how shallow the water is for an extremely long stretch of the way and very calm water. They also have actual washrooms and place to wash off your feet. Because of how small the one parking lot is it's not overcrowded. But because of the small parking lot you're not guaranteed to be able to go in when you get there. Also be prepared to pay $30, so it is quite pricy.
Singing Sands is a part of Bruce Peninsula National Park and is located on the Lake Huron shoreline approximately 10 km south of the town of Tobermory. Singing Sands has a small, natural ungroomed beach with shallow waters and picnic area. The Singing Sands beach has fragile sand dunes, rare flowers, a boardwalk and hiking trails. There is a parking fee to visit Singing Sands. You have to pay for the number of individuals plus the vehicle. Amenities Available: Parking Lot, Washroom, Changing Room This place is perfect for a day trip!
Such a beautiful beach the water isn’t deep at all. You can walk in the water and it only goes till waist level for a while. Great place for kids to safely play in. Washrooms were clean and they have outdoor change rooms.
Magnificent beach. It's ankle deep or knee deep for 100s of meters. Kid friendly, pet friendly. Usually windy. Not enough picnic benches, but we made do
Parking is free if you're staying at the Cyprus Lake campground, but this is not a good beach for swimming. The water is warmer but extremely shallow. Great for dogs though.
$29 is a lot to pay for. This place is way too overpriced. The water quality wasn't great in the shallow areas, but it was amazingly clear after 3ft. The water was warm up to 300m away from the shore.
