The atmosphere is very tranquil and friendly; the mixed chai is hot, lovely and soothing! We had ordered roti from here and had vegetable somas & delicious chai upon waiting. Although, we had a bit of a wait, so a second small cup should have been on the house. The chairs & tables were clean & comfortable - particularly for my petite & senior Mumi! Had to reduce stars : sorry to say, the roti is really poor cardboard taste, very bland, very rubbery and crooked shaped! Definitely need to improve this roti - not at all worth the $15 paid!! More like $1 worth. Definitely overpriced at $.99 each!! -please improve the roti dough/ consistency! Please know how to make E.A. style rotli / chapati! Thank you and best regards.
Good Halal Buffet option if you are in the east end. Around 6 meat dishes & 6 veggie dishes were on the table. Pulao was tasty and they were serving hot Naans on the table. Plenty of raita, salads, fruits to go along with the food. There were around 6 desserts including gulab jaman, kheer & freezer loads of ice cream. Athough, the ice cream was really hard so tough to even get it out. Overall, a nice experience which can be utilized for a 15-20 person party. Vegetarian options: Many veggie options available Parking: Plenty of Free parking in the plaza.
Entered the restaurant and there wasn't anyone there to seat me so I took a seat myself. Tables weren't cleaned off from previous guests, glasses and naan were still on the table. Used the Styrofoam cups to drink water. Food was average. Naan was brought to the table when I was half way done with my first plate, was never checked up on again. At the end I had to find the lady to pay and she added a 15% tip when cashing me out. Worst service I've ever received. Never coming back.
It's a simple Indian restaurant. It's not a cozy place but friendly staff. I can't eat the salad and also the sauce was spicy too. I prefer to order lamb but most of the time they don't have.
Quite expensive for the options they have on the menu. 20$ for lunch buffet on Saturday afternoon? Main course isn’t that great and options are less. The roti/nan is good and they have good options for desserts. I
I’ve been here once at a engagement ceremony. The food was ok at best and nothing to brag about. To be honest food seemed stale and not fresh. The owner was not really welcoming but did smile a few times so that helps. The venue is also extremely cold due to two small heaters for the entire hall. Do not book during winter unless things change.
The food was amazing. We enjoyed the appetizers, especially the fried fish, samosas, and tandoori chicken. We loved the chicken biryani and chicken karahi as well. The gulab jamuns and kheer were a delicious and great way to end the meal. The arrangements were beautifully done, and the tables were nicely set. Thank you to the Simply Delicious management.
Best Pakistani n Indian food I had in Canada....$20 per Buffett. Delicious tandoori naan, lamb kebab and mutton curry. Will come back again...Food: 5/5
