I don't usually go to the cinemas often, however I do strongly recommend watching movies in 3D there as the experience has no parallel. A concern I had was that the reclining chairs, while comfortable, went back too much and I had to prop my head up for the entire movie. Costs have come up and you can tell that theatres are struggling against streaming services or other entertainment. Otherwise still a great "date night" experience.
Disappointed, Hasn't been updated in over a decade+, saw Avatar in #8 and the screen was very small, dark and unsaturated, the projector glass screen was filthy you could see the dirt and the dust on the movie screen. Audio levels were messed up, the talking scenes were way to quiet but the bass was loud. Garbage wasn't cleaned from the floor from previous movie. If it's cold out I'd recommend bringing a blanket, the theatre was cold. False advertising to call this a "modern theatre" Take your family to a more modern theatre.
Disappointing experience. They closed outtakes 1-2 hours before their last show started. Was going to do dinner with our movie but couldn't do that because they closed that early and also weren't serving any food but candy and popcorn. Would have driven to a different theatre that kept theirs open if we hadn't already purchased tickets. The theatres themselves seem small and not comfortable. But staff were nice
Visited this theatre this past Tuesday. I used the kiosk to purchase the ticket however the scanner would not read my electronic gift card. Also, when purchasing snacks, the scanner would not read the gift card. After several attempts by the employee it worked. Unsure why there were so many issues, my phone was on the brightest setting and I do not have issues at other cineplex theatres. Perhaps an issue with in-house scanners? The biggest concern of the visit was that our movie was displayed in 4:3 format instead of full wide-screen. I did speak to the manager afterwards to let her know.
My partner and I love visiting this theatre. It is a bit on the older side, but it reminds me of a theatre I used to visit as a kid. Has great film selections!
was absolutely the worst. we went to go see bts yet to come concert and last time they had permission to dance they allowed us to film small clips. we assumed it would be okay and instead of politely pulling us aside one of the managers was aggressively tapping like hitting my friends 13y/o sister on the back and getting in her face yelling at her infront of the entire theatre causing a scene. when i spoke to him about how passive aggressive and touchy he was being towards her in a polite way he threatened to kick me out the theatre for telling him what he did was not okay. i spoke to another manager there, MATT and he only told us what we did and disregarded what the other male manager PJ did. nothing was done about how disgusting he was. never bring your families to this theatre. calling head office
It looks like this location has a broken scanner based on a review 2 weeks before I went. I was trying to redeem my holiday bundle and it wouldn’t scan, a staff member was nice and tried but weren’t able to figure it out and there wasn’t anyone there to assist him in helping. There won’t be a manager or anyone to help. It worked at another location, so it just looks like a system error that they still haven’t fixed.
The staff couldn't even pay for my ticket at the counter because they couldn't accept cash, had to walk all over the place until a nice worker at Outtakes helped me. Aside from that the experience was quite good
Great little theater to watch a movie. Does not have all the modern technologies of the larger theaters but good enough to watch most movies.
Why is it that young people sit In the theater on their phone, taking selfies disturbing the entire theater. What a waste of their admission fee. Stay home and do that! The theater should be kicking these people out!
