Really good food and excellent service. Menu is nice and simple, but something for everyone. We started with the fried ravioli which were nice and crispy. The Kentucky Hot Brown and chicken pesto sandwich were very tasty. The collard greens were magnificent.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
Everything was fantastic! I had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. Chicken was juicy and the hot chicken sauce was super flavorful. My wife got the steak sandwich and it was also cooked to perfection. My mother-in-law got the chicken plate. She loved the greens, one of the sides it came with, so much she ordered another helping. Service was also great and friendly. I will absolutely be back again and recommend everyone stop in and give it a go!
After spending the day wandering around Phillipsburg, we stopped in at the Siler Mill for a late lunch. It has the dark wood and rich leather feel of an excellent steakhouse and bar, but we experienced it as exhausted parents. The staff knew what we'd need and found an out-of-the-way corner for us to setup with two adults, an infant, and a toddler. The food was just right. And if you ask for it, they have the best cups and bendy straws for kids. Kid-friendliness: Even though it has a pub feel surprisingly thoughtful about parent needs. And excellent cup for kids.
Great burger and chicken lunches. Tomato Bisque is homemade. Prime rib on Thursdays. Great staff - They deserve a raise.
Had a small wedding reception here with our family. Dinner was fabulous and the service was top notch! The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for for our event. The staff was extremely attentive and the food was cooked to absolute perfection.
We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve dinner/party there. The food was very good, the service also. The atmosphere, with a fabulous live band local, even! was fun - there was also an option to dress up in 20’s garb and have our picture taken and printed out included with dinner!. The owner and the chef came out to talk with us and apparently we were already well know because of the international party that called and left a message for a reservation. All in all a very pleasant way to spend the early New Year’s Eve with our son.
Menu was maybe a little to fancy and pricey for us. We all did their prime rib French dip. One came wrong but they sent it back and made it correct. All in all was very good just more than I would normally pay for a French dip and fries. Employees were very friendly. Atmosphere was nice.
The food is gross. The duck wontons were the only thing we enjoyed. The waitress could have cared less if she was there or not. We asked for a side of mayo many times and never got it. The soda was totally flat. And she basically said she wasnt going to change it so we could order something else if we didnt wanna drink it. Do not recomend at all. One person ordered a steak. It was the worst steak ive ever had. If mcdonalds had steak it would be better. It tasted like total charcoal and it was bitter. The chicken sandwhich was eh. I wouldn't ever go here again. Kids menu was ok. My daughters got chickem strips and that was worth the 8$ but my son got a grilled cheese. And they only offer half of the sandwich. We had to pay more for the full sandwhich.
The locals indicated this was the best place for dinner. Service was slow although it seemed a single waitress was trying to handle everything while also trying to learn a new electronic ordering system. We ordered and 10 minutes later someone else asked if we had ordered yet. When food was delivered the garlic mashed potatoes were dry and cold couldn't even melt the butter pats we had to request. The "grilled vegetables" was a quartered 3-4" section of carrot with black grill marks - also cold. I had the flat iron steak - pretty sure that wasn't the cut - but at least it was warm. My wife had the fried chicken. The batter was inedible though the chicken inside was hot and done well. Her garlic mashed potatoes were also cold and her collard greens had way too much vinegar. Clearly the quality of food here has gone down the tubes. I would not recommend eating here.
We had the best flat iron steak and wontons. Absolutely delicious preparation of the steak. Will return for sure! The husband and wife that run it are so nice and welcoming.
