Silver Heights Restaurant & Lounge

Lovely dinner on a saturday night at this restaurant. The special included a half rack of ribs, chicken breast and prawns, your choice of carbohydrate - mashed potato, baked potato, fries or rice, plus vegetables and a salad or soup to start. We had the mashed potatoes with gravy - was very creamy. Started with a tossed salad- lots of salad dressings to choose from. Fantastic flavours with this meal - the breading on the large prawns was crunchy and well seasoned. Really enjoyed it. BBQ sauce on the chicken and ribs was perfect. Rib meat feel off the bone. The chicken was fantastic. Green beans were seasoned with a herb vinaigrette- was very nice. The restaurant was very busy that night, but our server was attentive, friendly and helpful. Great experience at this local restaurant. Would definitely go there again.

I love this place, the food is amazing. The. staff are great, always very welcoming from the time you walk in to the time you leave. This is a place you will definitely go back to. Kid-friendliness: One of the staff came out and did magic tricks for my friends son. He was very happy there. Wheelchair accessibility: I come in with a walker with no issues.

Awesome food, awesome service and the Manhattan was on point! Erica was a great server! If you haven't eaten here? Go eat here. The ribs will are incredible! Steak is always done to perfection medium rare always ends up medium well and homemade soups n sauces on everything. Highly recommend!

Had a couple of appies, the Memphis ribs and the Dawn Poutine. Ribs slid nicely off the bone, were tender and had a delicious rub. There was a side of their BBQ sauce, but totally unnecessary. The garlic toast on the side was a little flaccid, but good strong garlic flavour. The Dawn Poutine had an egg, bacon, cheddar and hollandaise smothered over their thickly cut fries. I was concerned the fries were too big and would just come across as a smothered potato, but they were grilled nicely, and were delicious under all the accoutrements. Service was a little slow and the portion of the ribs not the poutine - it was huge was a little small. Otherwise rock solid.

Food was good. We enjoyed the ribs and mushrooms. The service was very good too, not stellar. We dined on the patio and had fun people watching.

First of all, it was our server who really made our experience great! She was super friendly and made wonderful suggestions to us. The food was perfect in every way steak done perfectly rare and chicken not over cooked and wonderfully tasty! The only thing that I found unpleasant was the amount of grease used in the vegetables of the day. My veggies were crunchy but greasy and I didn't enjoy that at all, but I really enjoyed everything else very much.

Awesome meal and service. Restaurant was very busy, food still came out in a reasonable time and was as expected, perfect! If you have never been to this restaurant, you need to check it. Thanks for the great meal and service at very competitive pricing.

If the taste and quality of the food was all this place had to go on, they would have had to close their doors years ago. Food was bland, for all 4 of us. The Caesar salad was romaine and bottled dressing and dried bread for croutons, no parmesan, no onion. I had a full rack of ribs, barely warm, not seasoned at all, and it seems they must have been boiled first as they were beyond tender, they were mushy. For $150. with 1 coke only, horrible. The baked potato was very good, and our server was excellent. But YUK! Vegetarian options: Not much for anyone on a restricted diet.

I moved here in 1975 as a young man. The movers took me for dinner the first nite in town, to Silver Heights Restaurant... still dropping by, almost 50 Years now to say hello to Tony and the crew! INCREDIBLE DINING EXPERIENCE! And always a friendly bunch in the bar. 5 STAR RECOMMENDATION!
