Friendly staff, delicious food. We had an exceptionally friendly waiter who was attentive and chatted with us about the local area. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. There were a variety of vegetables on the Chow Mein, and the pork was tender and covered in a delectably sweet sauce. 10/10 would recommend and would visit again should we get the chance to.
Delicious food served fast by enthusiastic, attentive, helpful staff, in a nice setting. Ginger beef was amazing and perfectly crunchy. BBQ duck had great flavor especially with the orange sauce. We tried 3 flavors of the ice cream for dessert and they were all delicious.
I have eaten here twice the first time was very pleasant. Second time was okay, the service is good but when you have a complaint about your food it should be taken more serious especially that's the main reason customers visit this restaurant. The major problem with today's visit is that when I ordered Ginger Beef and the it says HOT. Beside it on the menu I expect it to be actually Hot. When I mentioned this to my server they said he would tell the owner. Well guess what that's not how you make it right. With any issue that comes up your not supposed to tell a customer oh I'll just tell the owner??? When you pay almost 100 dollars for a meal I would have expected a much better out come. If your Ginger Beef had a level of hotness 1 out of 10 I would give it a 2... My wife is Filipino she wasn't very happy with the level of heat she actually laughed on how you have it listed as HOT. Only thing hot was the High Tea. #Nothappy #makeitright Parking: If you choose to use the parking you have to sign a book with time of entry.
The taste of the food, the service of the staff and the facilities are good, also the location close the downtown and the river, but it was a bit expensive in my opinion and that of my friend who is from China and accompanied me, compared to other similar places we have been to.

This is most definitely the best chinese food we've had, it's going to be hard ordering from somewhere else after this. Each family member picked 1 item and then we shared family style, we ended up with: Spicy boneless chicken, beef & broccoli, special fried rice, fried chow mein, prawns in curry sauce and chicken balls. Everyone loved it so much that most of the plates were completely cleared and whatever leftovers we brought back were finished later. Service, decor, food ... all amazing.
We had such a great experience here! We went on Christmas Day with our two little kids, a 1 year old & a 3 year old. Everyone was SO friendly & accommodating. They even have special non glass plates & cutlery for the kids. The food was absolutely delicious, the ginger beef was amazing. Thank you Silver Dragon! Delicious lunch. Just the right portion size. Fresh and flavorful. The spring roll was good but when I saw my husband's soup I was envious. I enjoyed the lemon chicken and he had a shrimp dish that was also very good. My husband will be in Banff again next month and he is already planning a lunch at Silver Dragon.Food: 4/5
Every time I'm around Banff for hiking, camping or boarding, I always make a trip to the Silver Dragon. They have excellent food and my favourite ginger beef I've had anywhere. It's also a lovely location with friendly staff. I've also never waited long for food even with large orders. Wish I could give this place 6 stars or more. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options throughout the menu Kid-friendliness: Always friendly to children and infants Parking: About 20 ish parking stalls Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot is on flat ground and easily accessible to wheelchairs, no ramps or stairs.
Food is good. But this place is expensive with small portions for a sit down asian restaurant. For 3 items we had $90 plus dollars with tip. Service is good but they need to wash their dishes better. We a glass either lipstick marks on it. The atmosphere could be better. We were the inly ones dining.Food: 4/5
