It's your typical small town bar. Good place to stop and grab a quick drink. The bartender was really friendly. There were a few local regulars bellied up to the bar. They had the NFL games on TV, but would not show the Hawks basketball game for us. We did not ask for food. Nothing exciting at the silver dollar.
I'm from Cedar Rapids and come here just for the White Russians. Edit- Ask for the frosty mug when you order. The staff is friendly, they have a few funny and serious signs around the place, pool tables, casino type games where you win tickets to pay for your tab I think.? Overall great atmosphere. They sell cigarettes!
The only reason why I gave it a 4 star not a 5..I stopped drinking on new years eve,and I am on a diet..but the burger and fries looked great , plenty of fries and it looked like a double or triple cheeseburger...mmm...believe me, I wanted to tear that order up

The cheeseburger I had today was awesome!!! One of my customers recommended the place. Great service. It’s definitely a one horse town so it’s your only option. If I’m doing business in the area I definitely go back. 5 star Burgers and 5 Star service what else do you need!!!!???
Used to be good back in the day it's to bad it's the only place in town, if you're going there to catch a buzz it's great. DO NOT. eat Anything from their kitchen. I counted 3 health code violations in less than ba minute first thing I noticed open toe shoes in a comical kitchen, the second thing is the cook directly took cash then started to cook without washing hands or using gloves, lastly the the bar tender willy nelly, served my 19yr old cousin a full strength, double shot, bloody merry no questions asked no I.D check
I don't go to the places that have the best tenderloins, so when I find an old fashioned tasty one, it makes an impression. Not huge, pounded thin and overwhelmed by an over seasoned breading. But a meaty piece of tenderloin, hammered out to tenderize, with a breading that doesn't hide the taste of the meat.
Best damn pork tenderloin sandwiches and onion rings I've had ever went back the next day
Nice place to visit. Decor is awesome. Pool tables could be spread out to make room for play. Prices decent for a bar friendly patrons
Great prices, fun atmosphere, and they even had chicken gizzards
