My sisters and I went to Silvana Family clothing today to look for a mother of the bride dress for one of my sisters. I hadn’t been there in years. I was impressed with what I experienced that I had to write this review. Domenic was extremely helpful in making calls to his contacts to ensure that my sister will get the dress she wants. The kindness and patience did not stop there. There are so many items to look at that I realized I needed a new espresso maker that works on an induction stove. As soon as I asked the question Domenic was on the phone with his contact. Amazing! The coffee maker does not work on my stove unfortunately but as he was answering my question a gentleman approached him with a tie. He needed assistance knotting it. The owner quickly continued to respond to me as he helped the gentleman with the tie. I wasn’t in Silvana Family clothing store for very long but I had a “good feeling” when I left. Now that’s an all around great shopping experience.
I have been coming here for years and my grandmother asks to come here all the time. They always have the best brands and so much cheaper then other places. I even found a cute pair of sandals for myself. Will be back again in the near future thank you
Went on a Friday after school for my daughter to pick out a communion dress. Was helped by 2 lovely sales women and they were very friendly and patient. Helped us try to find the perfect size for a communion dress which was stunning and even made a great recommendation on the cutest shoes for her. Also chatted with the seamstress and she was super sweet as well. Even cashing out was a great experience, the gentleman who rang us up has a daughter having her communion as well and he was friendly and very personable. Was a great experience and the staff made you feel very welcome.
I went with high hopes on the recommendation of a relative who recently had a positive experience with respect to selection and price and because the photos on the website were modern and lovely in style, colour and youthfulness. I was shopping in May for my daughter's summer wedding. Unfortunately I found the selection limited, dark in colour, heavy unappealing fabrics, old fashion and the prices were very high. To top it off, on a very not -busy morning, the only staff I could find was simply unhelpful and uninterested. She herself had no enthusiasm about the store's inventory .
The store has beautiful dresses, the ladies that service the dress area though, need to learn to speak English when they are around customers because it's rude to speak Italian when others don't understand. The woman in the dress section gave us a hard time when my mom was trying on dresses, same with the seamstress. BUT, they were pleasant to deal with after we asked Dominic and Maurizio if we can exchange the dresses after the 14 day policy written on the receipt. That made my mother very happy. UPDATE: Domenic was able to help us out and made my mom very happy. She was pleased when we went back for a dress and it was a better fit for her. Excellent customer service. Thank you!
Very good selection of clothing and shoes for 65+ European women, staff very helpful, owner super nice.
Staff was extremely rude. First comment made to my grandma was “don’t do up the zippers you will break them”. Then she says “you can’t try on that many dresses”. In order to purchase a dress I have to try them on. They do not want you in the store at all and make a true effort to either ignore you or be rude. I will never go back and will never recommend this store to anyone.
It was worth the drive and the ladies were a great help for my Mom finding her dress for an upcoming wedding and helping my daughter and I find some new bras, will definitely be back!

Sales ladies follow you around with masks only covering their mouth and nose exposed. When you pick something they comment how it's beautiful for you, meantime I'm buying clothes for my Nonna. Not sure who does the buying for children but the clothes are very outdated and on sale because noone buys them. However, they do have a great selection of clothes and shoes for women.
