This is a great facility. Rob runs a great business - very responsive to texts and e-mails, flexible, honest with what he has and what he can do. The location is textbook middle of nowhere well, middle of a cornfield!, but if you are looking in the general area, I see this as a plus - it's really secure, especially since it's not 24 hour access. Well monitored. Our unit was large and clean. No leaks or vermin issues. We definitely had some humidity/condensation, but can't do much about that in a steel building on a concrete pad in an Ontario summer.
I was recommended Silicrest Storage from a friend. So glad I chose them for my storage needs. The fees were more attractive than found in the city. Downloading the app made gate access a snap! Will definitely return here again. Great customer service is scarce these days!
We were very impressed with the storage unit. It was clean and well kept both in the unit and on the property. It is obvious Rob takes pride in offering a great service at a great price. We felt safe storing our items there. We will recommend Silicrest to everyone.
The price is great, lower than most storage facilities in southern Ontario. The units are in good condition. Some of the small-to-mid-size units are inside a building which makes it way easier to move things in and out of your unit without having to worry about rain or dampness. The manager is very friendly and easy to deal with, and he's quick to sort out any issues you might have. The only con is that it's kind of in the countryside which makes a difference if you're renting a truck to move your stuff in and out extra kilometers on the truck. But if you're staying long term, it's definitely worth it because the monthly price is so good, and if you have your own vehicle to move your things, the distance shouldn't really be an issue.
I have had a storage unit for a number of years with Rob. He has always kept the place clean and clear of snow in the winter, which is important as I use it year around. He was particularly helpful 1 night as I was moving all my household and arriving 20 minutes after close. He let me in + asked that I would not be too late. I found his pricing to be the best in the area. I would highly recommend them. Thank you, Rob

Our experience with Silicrest Storage was excellent. It was easy and convenient to set up our contract electronically. Rob responded very quickly to our text messages and sent all the information by email. The unit was easy to access and clean and we appreciated the pallets that were in it for our household goods. The hours for access were convenient and the facility met all of our needs! We appreciated that everything could be done without contact during the pandemic.
My family and I used Silicrest Storage for 2 and a half years. The site is well maintained and with high security we never had to worry about anything happening to our belongings. The hours of being able to get in to access the locker were amazing. The rates were great and easily billed and received our invoices every month electronically. Rob made the process of acquiring the unit easy and straight forward and just as simple when we were leaving. If we could give them 10 stars we would.
The ownership at Silicrest go out of there way to help. Very accommodating and they have the best prices in the Kingston/Gananoque area. Keyless, gated, 24 hrs security cameras.
A little off the beaten track, well... from west end Kingston, but 24hr accessibility is better than the other guys in Kingston. Prices for spaces are very competitive and owner is responsive texts when you need to ask about whatever.
