It a very lovely restaurant, you get great Italian food here. It is usually busy so recommend booking in advance to avoid waiting.nThere's also a bar attached to it as well.nBecause I am vegetarian, I always prefer researching the menu and see the options and they do have a some vegetarian dishes which I loved. It is so far the best Italian restaurant I have been in Edmonton.
My recent visit to Sicilian Pasta Kitchen left me with a nuanced impression. On the downside, the service was notably subpar – both drinks and food took quite a long time to reach our table, and our server was scarcely present throughout the meal. The limited dessert selection, frequently out of stock, including the gelato, was disappointing.nnMoving on to the culinary aspect, the presentation and taste of most dishes were commendable. However, the seafood pasta fell short of expectations, exhibiting an unwelcome fishy smell that fresh seafood dishes should never have. This experience prompts me to advise against opting for any seafood-based items on the menu.nnOn a brighter note, the atmosphere at Sicilian Pasta Kitchen was warm and welcoming, contributing positively to the overall dining experience. Nevertheless, attention to detail was lacking in the upkeep of the bathrooms. The slow-flowing faucets presented an inconvenience, making it challenging to effectively wash hands. While the establishment has its strengths, there are clear areas for improvement.
We went there for a dinner.nI was amazed by the how much crowded this place was and yet the service was outstanding. There was line to be waited for before to get seated so if you planning a visit on the weekend, it would be ideal to make a reservation.nWe got a great server and she took perfect care of all our meals and the intervals between each meal.nThe food was full of flavours, nicely presented, adequate portion size.nHad there been a little music playing in the background, it would have been a cherry on the top. But All in all a great experience.
2 friends out of Town and my Mom Dad and I went to This Restaurant tried to book on Open Table there was a little Missunderstanding in the Reservation time but they fixed that as I thought the name was on there twice but a nice Man fixed it up for me I had a New Pasta Dish on the Menu. See picture forgot what it was called had sundried Tomatos chicken and Spanish but do Recommend it. Very good and the Brushcheeda? Was good and Ravioli and a Lasagna others ordered and that. The Tremeseu? Dessert was very good too. Not sure of Spelling on them I have been there Before. On the Outside tables most of us found a Birds Nest in a Unusual area in a heater. Staff were aware but the tables were away from that a few inches and not a problem it was a experience. I have been there before in past times and have still enjoyed this great place I Recommend South side it has been around for a very long time. I even saw the Owner who Welcomed me there too.
Came here for our anniversary dinner tonight and the food was super yummy. I got the Fettucini Alfredo and my husband got some sort of chicken sandwich with penne and cream sauce on the side - SO delicious. The Alfredo sauce wasn’t watery or tasteless; it had so much flavour and was creamy and super filling. It was really busy so the noise levels weren’t great while we tried to chat, and trying to find parking was an experience I wouldn’t like to repeat, but our server and the food made up for it!
