The nachos were good because they added pickled onions and house made beans. The steak taco was good but I highly recommend the beef tongue taco. It’s extremely soft and really juicy and has a nice beefy flavour. I’ve been to a few taco places in the lower mainland but this is the first time I’ve seen beef tongue on a menu. Also the fresh made churros were really really good, drizzled with house made caramel. They also had Mexican Coca-Cola! Staff were very friendly and it was very clean inside. Only issue I had was the heat was not on and was very cold inside. A lot of people came and picked up orders for take out. Would come here again in the warmer months.
This is the Mexican restaurant everyone has been waiting for in ridge. Had the Poco burrito and it was amazing. Great flavours and a lovely sized portion. The owner chef was super friendly and we had a nice chat about the menu. What more can you ask for in a nice little restaurant. Will definitely be coming back to try more
I’ve been craving tacos and found this gem of a place! Everything was delicious, restaurant was spotless, and the staff and owner were amazing! Super helpful in helping me figure out what to order. My picky kids enjoyed the food as well which is really hard to do. We ordered the pork belly tacos - today’s special, enchiladas, and chicken quesadillas. We will definitely be coming back! Pls excuse the enchilada picture as a bite was taken out by my kid before I had a chance to take a picture lol. It was served nicer than the picture.
Quick service , food was Good , good portions size . Price was reasonable. I didn’t give 5 star because it was a very small place to sit and eat .
Great food tacos al pastor are the best I’m from Mexico and those tacos are close flavour to Mexico green enchiladas are the best guacamole is alway fresh my family and I love this place .
The owner Rolando, was friendly helpful courteous and very polite. He runs a tight ship here, the place was spotless including the washrooms and his kitchen area is very well organized and spotless. They made a custom order hot sauce for me calling a spot because I like things extra spicy and it was fantastic and upon my request he sold me two bottles of the product. I'm very happy with Rolando and the food he serves with the professionalism that he offers! I highly recommend this restaurant!
Such an amazing little restaurant! I always get their tacos and they are the best in ridge hands down, the portions are huge and have so much flavour. My absolute favourite tacos are the shrimp tacos, I could have them everyday they’re so amazing. Highly recommend you check them out if you like authentic Mexican food.
The menu looked good and the reviews were raving so we gave it a shot. I wouldn’t consider myself a Mexican restaurant expert but have eaten my fair share from fast food to authentic spots. The food here was disappointing considering the reviews. A lack of fresh ingredients, flavours and execution. Was sub par at best. The service was good though. Friendly and kind.
Finally a great Mexican spot in Maple Ridge! Spotted them driving home on Lougheed and decided to try them out. We just had the carnitas tacos and Si Senor Burrito…WOW. Delicious. Soo much flavour! The burrito is HUGE and came with what tastes like homemade tortilla chips which was all top notch. The carnitas meat tasted like it was made on your BBQ at home. I can’t tell you how great it is to have food that tastes like it was made with love and care. The avocado salsa has a nice little kick at the end which I thoroughly enjoyed. Appreciate they aren’t afraid of spice and flavour! All the ingredients tasted and looked super fresh. Will 100% be back here often I’m sure! Thanks to the Chef for our delicious dinner tonight!
We stopped in for lunch and it was so delicious! By far the best Mexican food that we have found locally. Staff were all extremely friendly and the guac was perfection! Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu.
