Cute little coffee shop on King Street West. My husband and I were looking for a place to sit down and have a nice latte and a bite and we walked by Shy Coffee. The interior of this coffee is really beautiful, reminds me of the shops in Europe. Staff were really friendly and greeted us when we walked to the register. The lattes tasted great, my husband got a breakfast sandwich not made fresh, just reheated and I got myself a croissant. The baked goods were fresh but wish they had more variety. Bonus points for this shop for leaving dog treats put for all the doggy owners to take. I thought that was really cute!
Lovely little coffee shop. Great rich cappuccino with a nice foam. They had raw sugar which is always a bonus. They have free wifi, just ask for the password. It’s good connection so you can settle in and do some work. We ordered a savoury sweet potato and Gruyère scone and a sweet lemon cranberry scone. Both were a bit dry. There are a few small patio tables, some with shade. They opened the doors to the inside and ran the ceiling fans, so there was lots of fresh air inside too. If we find ourselves in the area we’ll stop in again. The cost of 2 cappuccinos and two scones: $18
Cute coffee shop on the west end beside a men's suit shop. Decor inside exudes elegance. Cozy, approx 15-20 people capacity, mostly tables of two. Front door is glass, would be very nice in the summer with a patio. Flat white was strong, smooth with a citrus end. Service: barista was pleasant, and prompt. If I lived in the area, probably be one of many regular coffee shops I'd go. Looks like they have patries with vegan options. Was just here for a quick espresso. Flat white was under $5, which is rare these days.
Found a coffee shop that is really a good place for chilling. The coffee and pastry tastes really good. They have decaf whether it's a hot or cold drink which is really nice. The coffee shop has a lot of patrons that come and go. And barista/staff not sure if she's ghe owner...forgot to ask is very accomodating and nice. Place is very relaxing and vibes is really good.
Staff is always so welcoming & friendly, even when they’re super slammed making drinks. One of my favourite coffee shops in the area, their espresso is always the perfect pour & well calibrated. Vegetarian and gluten free options as well. My favourite cookie is their almond chocolate cookie, it’s the perfect texture!
Good coffee, good service, fair prices. King St can get really loud sometimes and it can be problematic if you plan on staying for a while but the place is cozy and nice. If you go at the right time during a sunny day you will get the best of the light. Great to catch up with friends, read a bit, maybe do some quick work.
Cute coffee shop with a good variety and quality of drinks and bakery items. They have a lot of different tea types such as Madagascar Vanilla, and pairs well with freshly baked cookies, scones, or croissants.
Beautiful space and very delicious coffee. They also have baked goods with gluten free and vegan options. In the summer they have front patio that’s covered by awning.
Wow!! This coffee shop is one of the nicest I’ve been in the city. Amazing coffee and beautiful spot to hang out. I visited while meeting a client in the area and I will return again just to have a coffee here again.
Everything tasted so good. Don’t miss their muffins! It’s amazing!!! They have great vibes, nice terrace, and clean bathroom. The barista was super nice and cool :
